You can... and they will... but only until the opposition get wise to it and shut those good players down with teamwork.

Think he knows it's done and the player's don't want him there or aren't all giving everything for him..

Looks like man who knows he'll be relieved of his duties pretty soon..

A decent new manager would be on at least double Lennons wage easily

So if a team consisting of 11 good players play a team of 11 good players who are properly coached and organised, who has the advantage?

Is it the 11 players who kick about like free spirits in random places all over the park? The 11 that press in differing numbers leaving unlimited spaces in the middle of the park?

Or is it the team and coaching staff who do what they are actually paid to do on a weekly basis? Work on a style of play, prepare to be adaptable to combat situations that could potentially arise in a game. Embed patterns of play in your players so that it happens without thinking about it in a game situation.

Work on a defensive shape and ensure there are limited gaps between players? Ensure that before you even lose the ball there are people in specific designated positions so that we don’t get done on the transition.

For the record, as far as I can see, the Celtic coaching staff do none of these things as evidenced by the horse * we are forced to suffer through every * week.

Being at a professional football club and disregarding preparation and tactical instruction is gross negligence and a slap in the face to anyone who contributes to their wages.

I think you know this but when you’ve went out on a limb and made a stupid statement sometimes you are too stubborn to backtrack. We’ve all been there.

    Body language experts galore.

Only 4 games until the international break and annoyingly only 1 of them is a league game.

Really wish last seasons Scottish Cup games were done by now.

Lille away was always going to be difficult. If we had been flying all season so far then this would've been almost a fee hit kind of game. Now we are desperately in need of a good game / performance.

IF the board decide to change the manager, they will appoint John Kennedy....I don't want that.

Being embarrassed in Europe at our level is losing to the likes of red imps, losing to ferencvaros was disappointing by 2-1 especially at home but the champions of the Hungarian league or Romania league is on par with spl league in the standard of football

Ferencvaros are a team who have got to the group stages of the champions league and will inevitably get their arses skelped and be the cannon fodder of the group which is exactly the same as us when we actually managed to get that far 3 or 4 season s ago, so as much as we could have and probably should have won that game unfortunately it is a team on par and equal standing with Celtic, it’s just we think we are bigger than that

It’s funny mate boys on the champions league were spot on they said “ Man Utd don’t have a problem beating PSG and the likes, it’s the boring BrightonS , Crystal Palace s and Burnley s they struggle with, 10 men defences who are physical and play on the quick counter They can’t adapt their game to that

was a bit like the Huns in Europe last year

We have a budget many times that of Ferencvaros and a massive wage bill in comparison. We shouldn't be losing to them or Cluj full stop.

Poor coaching and being tactically outclassed is the reason we lost to both, Cluj in particular.

Very poor generation of Irish players this last 10 years. I’d say Doherty, Coleman and maybe the Sheffield United lads at a push are the only ones who are anywhere near that top bracket of players
