I'd agree with that, the passion has gone and with him that becomes a problem. He's always seemed like a motivator than anything else.

F*ck it was * awful, I remember watching the nations league game v Wales in 2018, gave me a migraine watching that Neanderthal garbage. Mind you it’s the time of game that Duffy thrives in. Lol

A line up containing the amount of talent and energy we had on display yesterday should have being all over the Sheep from the start.. We didn't start playing until the 2nd half a goal down..

We should be on it from the start.

Dreadful stuff but some Ireland fans will point to the fact we beat Germany who were world champions at the time. Its kinda reminds me now of Celtic and lenny when fans say "aye, but we beat Lazio.."

Difference is Lennon has some great players at his disposal the now and we are playing some terrible football

How many Ireland players would get in the Celtic team. Coleman maybe? Theres a group of good players here they just dont play for him. He has to go

This is sort of...strangely true, because the NT manager of Croatia isn't a brilliant tactician. Just one * of a motivator. So, average managers can succeed. But Lennon seems depressed, and that throws the motivating part out of the window.

I think Howe's a good manager. However, when he went to Burnley and did quite well in his 18 months, he opted to leave for "personal reasons" and go back to Bournemouth. There was no talk of Burnley wanting to get rid off him so it wasn't a convenient excuse. A lot of people thought that he and his family couldn't settle in the North.

That's what worries me - life in Glasgow is very different and the pressure of managing Celtic (especially this season) - its quite possible that he could be overwhelmed by that pressure and perhaps being unhappy in Glasgow. It's a risk although I would swap him for Lennon in a heartbeat.

My only criticism for NL from yesterday was his body language (he's meant to be inspiring - his body language suggests the opposite), and his post match comments about the Pens (they were all nailed-on and it sounded like sour-grapes).

Is a good point about Howe. Has spent almost his entire career (playing and managing) on the South Coast with Bournemouth and Portsmouth who are about 30min drive from each other. Probably very settled and could be why he hasn't gone to another club.

If he wants to be a successful manager tho he would need to embrace the transient nature of the role. In some ways he's similar to Rodgers and may see us as the perfect platform to relaunch his career.

He has addressed this saying he is less animated now and a changed person to what he was before.

I think it's to the detriment of the team. Of course, none of us will know what he is like in the changing room, but it would be difficult to switch between personalities so quickly.

I'm not asking for a total radge fest on the touchline, but he doesn't even offer encouragement never mind any useful tactical or helpful shouts to his team.

He's running out of clubs down there to manage already.

Howe will take a mid table/relegation PL club before us, don’t think he’d have any desire to come to Scotland.

Absolutely bang on, good players can produce moments of individual brilliance, but all players benefit from coaching and understanding their roles
