    I’m sure the accountant agrees.

Same way he did after Diaz 1 when Nate choked him 10 minutes before Khabib did.

GSP at his best wipes the floor with him in every single department.

Agree with the bolded, but ultimately, far stranger things have happened than a fighter retiring and deciding to come back when a outrageous offer is in the table.

I don’t think it will happen personally - Khabib has made good money, can continue to make good money without fighting, doesn’t even seem to be that interested in money, but money does talk.

I don’t think the timing fits though - McGregor would need another big win to make it interesting, and I’m not convinced he has that in him, or enough time left in him to wait for Khabib to get bored of retirement.

Every department? I'm trying to stay open minded here.

Even if Khabib wasn’t retiring and McGregor wasn’t part time there’s still so many other fights involving then I’d rather see than them two go at it again.

There is nothing Khabib can do that GSP doesn’t do better. He would out strike him, out wrestle him, out grapple him, out muscle him.

At his best, the kicker is GSP is almost 40.

I even think GSP would disagree with that himself. Anyone who has fought, Dana White, the guy in the pub, the idiot you meet on holiday, anyone would not agree with that.

Khabib purposely punished mcgregor because he hates him. He could have finished him in the first round if he wanted to.

I had hope Gaethje could do it, given how powerful he is and a very good wrestler but Khabib is just another level, he’d dominate the Welterweight division as well.

Kind of gutted to see him retire but I think with his dad passing away can understand him not wanting to fight anymore without his mentor.

Reckon Gaethje will win the title soon but there’s a lot of fights to be made in that division. Want to see Islam get a big fight as well.

I never called him the goat either. You’re all over the shop. I don’t know what you’re arguing about anymore because you’re trying to defend his record against me while slandering it yourself.

30-0 means * all when the majority of it are against people he could beat with his eyes closed is my point. Something you thought was important. There’s guys with less wins out there who’ve been fighting at a higher level more often. 30 means nothing to us and nothing to him, especially when there’s no significant fight for him to make it 30.

Just saw there Jon Jones picked Gaethje to win before the fight. He must be one of those casual fans Paul was telling us about.

Hes in the goat talk for sure, his resume is abit light compared to the others but his sheer dominance is unrivalled. Hes never been troubled, cut or even knocked down and made his elite level opponents look like they dont even belong in the same cage as him, gsp or jones cant say that plus they've both lost ( yes I'm including Reyes beating Jones cause he did) and have never looked so far above their contemporaries as khabib has during his run. I honestly think if he bulked up and went to welterweight he would dominate as well although maybe not as easy. I'm not saying he is the goat but hes top 3 for sure in my eyes.
Be interesting to see what happens with the belt now, I reckon since justin did just smash ferguson recently that he will fight the winner of conor v dustin for the vacant belt.

    lol

GSP, a karate guy, became the most dominant MMA wrestler on the UFC roster when he was active. He has a list as long as your arm of actual Div 1 wrestlers he out wrestled in the cage.
