This sums it up perfectly.

The thing is we should be using them putting two or three players on him to our advantage as it frees up space for other players but because we are too reliant on him that completely eradicated our attacking play and no one else stepped up to help.

 

He's clueless..

Quick to write off our best young talent who has been doing everything for us of late. Claims the Huns have his number..

It's all ifs and buts but a fully fit Rogic always takes up those positions in-between that are a nightmare to defend against and has the frame and skill to glide away from player's....which also takes at least another out of the game..

 

Yeah totally agree with that.

With the kind of money that was getting mentioned for Rogic I was desperate to keep him. Yes he has his injury and fitness issues but he so good at creating a bit of magic whether that be a great run, goal or assist.

I want to see him get a run in the side again because he is without a doubt one of our best players when at his best and he seems to get the best out of others such as Forrest for example.

 

You can't discard his fitness though..

If he was more of an athlete then he'd have left us ages ago for a bigger league and he certainly wouldn't be out our team, ever..

I'd love him to get back to what he was but it's a big if. He's been miles off it for a long time now..

 

Leaked team must have given them a boost too.

 

Aye if he had Christie’s engine he would have been gone a long time ago, it’s the only thing that’s held him back because it certainly isn’t his ability.

Yeah it’s a big if but I really hope he can get back to his best because he is a quality player that shows up in the big games.

It would never have mattered who we started with, the tactics would have been exactly the same. Rather than playing to our strengths with the available players we are trying to get players playing a system they simply cant get used to or do not like or favour. As already said, Frimpong was left isolated, we had gaps through he whole midfield. Due to our players being so rigid and failing to move to find space it gave them time to get into position. Although all the focus is on the Hun game, the games leading up to it have been pretty much the same.

 

Aye the 3-5-1-1 doesn't work, if he is going yo persevere with 3-5-2 we need more from our central 3 and two proper strikers in the box.. Would like to MJ tried in 10 when fit.

Ironically enough, he thinks the sun shines out of Forrest’s *. You know, the guy who has had about 3 good performances against the huns in a decade.

Frimpong, if I remember correctly, was arguably our best player in the two previous games against them. I know he got sent off in the cup final, but up until that he was easily our best outfield player.

 

We’ve seen this pattern before as well. That was the mantra in McGeadys last season with us. The football was dire to watch. Same with commons that season he scored upwards of 30 goals.
Give them the baw and they’ll do all the hard work while the rest stand about their thumb up their *.

Poor tonight. He's young and has time to develop but needs to be able to do more than just run with the ball. An occasional cross would be good.
