As the weeks go by and still no sign of him I would say there's more to it and maybe one of the problems why we are playing * .

Unbelievable that the three other teams on our group are top of their league and are flying

 

That might be true... but it’s NOT acceptable..

Players are paid serious money for a low hours job that is basically their hobby. They are paid that money to perform in every game and competition in which we/they participate... not to pick and choose the ones in which they want to try because it suits their ‘interests’ or career path.

Someone pointed out elsewhere on here a relevant factor..

Sevco are full of journeymen, aging pros and ‘found their level’ type players who are happy where they are and with the job they have.

Celtic may have better players... but as a result, many of them see us as a route to the mighty EPL or european leagues and either don’t fully commit to the job they are paid handsomely to do .. or are constantly distracted by the prospect of a ‘big move’.

A good game to throw a few players into the deepend I think.

Put a few guys under pressure to see how they react, Ajer having to get Welsh through a game. Soro and Turnbull both having to do defensive disciplined jobs and cover Rogic who will offer them no help. See what Griffiths can do leading the line alone. Play Laxalt again so we can see more of him.

Think theres no point in risking Ajeti, Duffy and McGregor have played in every game of the season for club and country and should be rested even Ajer I would have but we can't with Jullien, Bitton and Elhamed out.

Think the Europa is a good chance for us to test things out and give guys a game we cant "trust" in the League to see if they can make a breakthrough. Would like to see Johnston in hopefully 3 or 4 of the games if he can get back fit in time. Turnbull also i'd like to see in the 10 and deeper and playing all the EL games to see what he's like in various positions. Eventually Elhamed and Bitton also playing them to keep them fresh. Ajeti and Klimala also getting a chance as a lone striker.

 

For me theres just too many games again this season, they are even more crammed in than usual and that some players are already playing too much and theres no end in sight to when they will get a rest. These are the least important games, they are also kind of the biggest games which would be good for guys to get tested in.

The squad has been decimated a lot already this season Jullien, Elhamed, Christie, Bitton, Edouard, Forrest, Johnston, Griffiths, Ajeti have probably all missed at least 4 games each and we've only had about 12. We need to protect some players like Duffy, Ajer and McGregor who are playing every weekend and midweek of the season and also need to see more of some players or nurse guys back to fitness by giving them minutes.

Like that team, and have no problem with your thinking and I actually agree. I'd be astonished if Brown and Calmac don't start.

 

The only chance is to pack the defence, push them out wide and defend. Milan have too much pace in their side to attack them. Ironically, this fixture will suit Duffy.
