Beyond me how someone couldn’t care less about animals. I feel like a bit of a hypocrite, given I’m not a vegetarian, however seeing animals in pain and being mistreated sickens me.

Dogs are just the best wee * on the planet. Adore them.

Dogs are the only animals on the planet that love others more than they love themselves.

Cats and dogs are an integral part of the family for those lucky enough to have them .

I love dogs, don't have a massive affinity with animals other than that....I don't like birds or cats, have a fear of both.....wouldn't harm them obviously but couldn't own either of them.

If we didn't have animals we wouldn't have bog roll as soft as a puppy or a koala. Think how your ring piece would feel without that

Dont have any pets now , the pain process is too much when they go . Some family have dogs so I get my fix there .
Feed the birds in the garden .. except seagulls cant take to them .

Genuinely cannae look at a dug without smiling or laughing, find them funny as *.

Hanging out a car window with their tongue wagging, a wee sausage dug who's legs were never intended to carry their massively long body, a Lab chasing a herd of animals across a field or rolling about in a mucky puddle being an *, a big daft slabbery * shaking its slabbers over every *.

They are Gods gift to us.

    Like dugs
    Hate dolphins.

Dolphins are the knobs of the sea.

" oh look at me, I can balance a baw on my nose "

Pfft, big deal, I can fit you into a tin of tuna. * !

Can’t understand how anyone can collectively dislike animals. We are animals with dexterous hands and developed a societal hierarchical structure. Nothing more really.

The world would simply be a much, much poorer place without the non-human, animal kingdom (putting aside the fact that it wouldn’t be possible for humans to exist in such an environment). Our disconnection from animals, and the fact we see ourselves as an entirely separate life form, is an issue that needs to be challenged.

My cats are cool as *. Like dogs as well, but not in the house enough to justify getting one, wouldn't be fair.

Crows are absolute belters. There are a lot around where I live. Our town coat of arms and Golf Links logo both feature crows due to the prominence of them. My local is called the Craw's Nest and the restaurant at the golf is called The Rookery.

On the golf course too, they know as soon as I tuck into some grub, they are there in a shot. When there is just a couple of them I give them a bit banana or sandwich. They are also known to unzip pockets on golf bags and help themselves :56:

Punted this book on here a few times but it's relevant to the topic.

Through his travels and studies of the animal kingdom he outlines various examples of mutual cooperation in species.

A fascinating opposing view to the survival of the fittest/dog-eat-dog/everyone out for themselves mentality that seems to prevail in the modern world.

    Humans could learn a lot.
