Can't remember the last time we could say that about a transfer window. Best we've had in a while mate.

    Good window.

Very surprised no outs, hoping we have a turn of form for the expected players who were linked with moves, as for me, only Ajer has stepped up.

It might have been difficult to hold another CB, especially since Bitton and Julien picking up injuries at the same time. A winger I would have liked too.

The best window in quite some time, on paper at least. Every signing could start for us regularly and not look out of place.

No reason not to see the 352 on a consistent basis now when everyone is fit. Laxalt and Frimpong are ideal wing backs, and we have great options up top.

In agreement with pretty much everyone, we've brought in what looks to be real quality and can only look forward with confidence going into the rest of the season. I think the Sevco game might come a wee bit too soon for Laxalt but he's gonna be a great addition of the course of the season.

Eddy will hopefully regain some of his focus and form now that the window has shut also, with the usual suspects from last season playing like we know they can along with this windows new guys we've got as strong a squad as we've have had for a long time. Just a matter of getting them all working well together but I'm sure that's gonna click. HH

That picture make you realise how good the window was. All potentially first 11 players.

I'm hoping the closing of the transfer window will let some players re-focus. Not expecting a quick turnaround but a win at Paradise against that mob would be the best way to kick on the rest of the season!

A superb window, undoubtedly. I don’t think many thought we’d strengthen in several positions and lose none of our big hitters in the context of what’s happening in the world and being papped out of the Champions League qualifiers.

The manager has been supplied the appropriate tools in all the key areas, when everyone is fit our squad is strong and has cover all over the park. Now it’s time to put the fit doon domestically.

Exactly, no excuses for Lenny now. He has it all at disposal. Still can’t believe we didn’t sell any big players

Hopefully with the window now shut we can concentrate on player contracts. Like Eddy and Christie

I still think we should have had a fit striker ready to hit the ground running (expence of griff, or loan Paddy) and a LCB and offset that by selling Ntcham.

If i can see this plus half this forum, why couldnt the decision makers at the club see it.

Was just about to say, i dont think the window was near as good as most have posted.
Ajeti was the only player who I felt added quality to last seasons squad and he was bought unfit and not ready to play in the big games.
Duffy was signed far to late in the window also.
Barkas isnt an improvement on Forster for me.

Strategy still isnt good enough, as we have seen season after season.

The Manager is the biggest single reason we are performing like a bag of *, totally * it and hasn't a clue.

Took me to thinking about the supposed 10 in a row "main" squad though too....squad of *. So who would I keep and who would I ship the * out as soon as we get rid of the clueless manager?

    Barkas- *
    Bain- *
Frimpong- lightweight but one for the future.
    Ajer- sell
    Bitton-squad player, no more
    Julien- keep
    Duffy - hahahahahahaha!
    Laxalt- he will be off
El Hamed- get to *, useless *.
    Brown- retire
    McGregor- keep
    Christie- sell
Ntcham- sell and batter his * in before he leaves
    Turnbull- keep
    Soro- * knows
    Eddy- Sell
    Ajeti- jury is out
    Klimala- jury is out
    Griffiths - Ditch
    Forrest- keep
Eli - he will be off

Not much there to play with man!! Could be a long cold winter.

Until we get Forrest and Johnston back I’d go...

    Barkas

    Elhamed
    Ajer
    Jullien
    Laxalt

    McGregor (CM)
    Turnbull (CM

    Frimpong (RW)
    Elyounoussi (CAM)
    Edouard (LW/Free Role)

    Griffiths (CF)
