    If we had got Marshall and he let that in we would be saying why did we not spend good money on a younger keeper? It's a balancing act. It's the most important part of the team and anything after FF was going to be a downgrade

    For now I agree. But I would be doing everything to get Forster back in January. We played worse in the League Cup final than we did yesterday and the BIG man was the difference. Rangers are not this team the media make them all out to be. We just need to get our act together to claw back those 4 points.

    He doesn't seem very confident at present. Maybe that's down to playing for a new club in a new country, I don't know but I remember when he played for AEK against us a few years back he seemed really commanding, shouting at and keeping on top of his defence and coming out and taking everything in the air. Seems a lot more timid for us. He needs to impose himself more for me.

    Dropping him won't do him any good at all

    He's not having bad games, he just needs to learn to play with the team more.

    Unlike ajer who has bad games and needs rested, barkas needs to grow in to this squad.

    We spent £5million on a young international keeper, the same reason we spend £9million on the likes of Édouard...we are investing here.

    He's a decent keeper, as is Bain, but we are looking at a keeper whommay give us a return.

    It very well may turn out a dud in the grand scheme, but he was scouted, comes with a decent reputation and standing in the game for his age.

    The logic behind the signing is sound, we just need to see him live up to the price tag still.

    He definitely hasn’t deserved coming into a team that has no settled defence and it is giving him the jitters. Think we will see the best of him when we settle with Duffy, Jullien and Ajer.
