It’s definitely his head , aye fair enough 2-3 games and it could be put down to some of the excuses being made but come on the season started a while ago now he’s got to knuckle down. I’m sure he will up the ante when the window shuts but it’s still a bad attitude to carry. The group stages will tell its own story infact the 17th will do as he’s been known to step up on the “bigger” occasions , soon find out what the script is can’t see a bid being accepted personally but sure we will find out tomorrow.

 

He's been way off it for a good while. Either a fitness issue or an happiness/attitude issue. No idea which, but wouldn't be surprised to see him go and bang in a few for France U21 over the next week or so.

For a player that good, there is something very wrong for him to be playing like this. Isn't showing for the ball as much as he normally does, and when he does he is losing it way too easily. At his best his touch is great and he has the strength to hold off defenders and the skill to roll them and run at people. We're not seeing any of that.

When we're chasing a goal we took off our best, most dangerous player so that has to be a worry if he's not carrying some kind of knock? Hopefully he's back to his normal self soon. If he's fit and happy over the course of this season we'll win the League, no doubt.

 

Deadline day and no rumours of him going anywhere, fairly confident he is staying then. Brilliant!!!!
But needs to sign an extension, Lawwell just would not risk the £9million original fee here, I am still calling the extension has already been signed and will be announced later this week as a boost to morale etc. Certainly before the hun game.

I wouldn't be confident of anything. We seem to be doing things quietly under the radar. Never anything about the Diego guy before last night.

 

There has been absolutely zero sign in his performances and general demeanour on the park to suggest that has happened. If it has, he better get the finger out pronto and start earning his wage increase.

 

Would not disagree, he hasnt looked a happy lad overall.
But he has looked like this before as well, could be a number of things.

Mental Danny, I’m delighted he’s staying but at the start of the season, everyone would have been on this thread tonight totally ecstatic that he is staying, amazing how a few bad half hearted performances and maybe the fact Ajeti started so well, klimala knocking on the door and Griffiths coming back that people not anywhere near overexcited as a just a few months back

guy’s still absolute quality, every player hits a blip or 2, guy will bounce back

 

Absolutely massive he's still here, I know he's not been at his best lately but I honestly think that's down to fitness. Even if it's not with the window being shut, and the next game a good bit away, I think we'll see eddy return to form.

 

Yeah it’s crazy! He has been very consistent over his time here but has just had a big dip recently.

Very surprised how quickly some have given up on him because of a few poor performances. It’s not like he is a squad player that we can do without he is our best player ffs!

I am also very surprised at the lack of posts on here. It’s been a great window for us in terms of signings but keeping hold of Edouard was priority and we have achieved that. Absolutely delighted he is still here

 

When the pandemic hit OE stayed in Glasgow when just about every other player took off back to their own country.

That speaks volumes to me about the guy and this tells me that it's not an attitude or head turning moment, but you can never tell 100%.

He just doesn't look fit and I hope it's a slight injury problem which he'll eventually overcome ,get back on form and help win the 10....then we wish him all the best in his career.

 

Best bit of business was keeping him.

 

Hopefully he knuckles down now..

League cup final scenario here. Eddie was only active in that game with the ball for like ten mins and destroyed them. Same as the 3-2 Ibrox game. Came be an great impact sub don't think he's done anything to deserve a start recently. Can't take passengers this season! Need to prove your worth to the team
