Rosenborg thrashing some Latvian mob there away from home (1 - 5). Some bookies had them at a decent starting price (8/13 or thereabouts). Having said that, the Norwegians haven’t had the greatest of starts in the eliteserien this season, languishing in 10th place nearly halfway through their domestic campaign until the past month (they’re currently third).

Is is possible we could draw them yet again in the early stages of European cup? Lol!

Didn’t know that. Not that I give two hoots about Motherwell, but knowing Coleraine beat Maribor (a half-decent team with a decent European pedigree) away in Slovenia could make this a tasty tie worth watching. Motherwell have been particularly bad this domestic campaign so far, so I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if they end up out on their * tonight.

Maribor are not the same team that beat us. They are no longer dominant locally and were very easy for the Huns to beat some time ago

Aberdeen have Sporting next, but if they can somehow get past them the teams they can play in the playoff are weak compared to The Huns & Motherwells potential.

    Aberdeen
Potential opponents: Standard Liege, Steaua Bucharest, Granada, Milan, AEK Athens, LASK, Rosenborg, Apollon Limassol, Rostov, Reims, Rijeka

    Huns
Potential opponents: Tottenham, Basel, Besiktas, Sporting, Copenhagen, PSV, Wolfsburg, Viktoria Plzen, APOEL Nicosia, BATE Borisov, Galatasaray, Malmo, Partizan Belgrade

    Motherwell
Potential opponents: Tottenham, Basel, Besiktas, Copenhagen, PSV, Wolfsburg, Viktoria Plzen, APOEL Nicosia, BATE Borisov, Galatasaray, Malmo, Partizan Belgrade

Why would you want Scottish teams to get destroyed? I can understand wanting the Huns to be embarrassed, can’t understand the rest. Especially when the Huns in Europa can only be a bonus for us fixture wise.

Plus in current form, Spurs, Besiktas and Milan probably do us too.

Good to see the Belfast huns getting beat and knocked out especially from what was a winnable tie given they were home too.
