tbf they would have had us watched and saw how we were getting frustrated a lot by teams domestically sitting in against us and lets face it we never scored till the 70th min
but the final 10 showed they could play a bit if they tried
i'll admit it i was bricking it until we scored

there is things we could do though against teams sitting in defending like that for the 90m to create better chances of scoring
look at how the english spanish german italian french teams play against small teams like this in europe
allowing them to come on to you more deliberately not dominating the ball and then use your top attacking talent to exploit them with their pace and skill on the break

we have elyonoussi left eddie central forrest or frimpong right and christie or ntcham in behind them
that should be able to get us goals on quick aggressive direct counter attacking but we have it ingrained in our philosphy now to play a safe possession game and wait for the one or 2 chances that will come our way
its successful this way of playing for us over the last 12 or so years but id argue we have better attacking talent now than weve had in the last 12 years also and that talent could play a great counter attack game

We are in pot 1 due to Sporting CP and Galatasaray being almost certainly knocked out.
Sporting CP are 4-1 down and Galatasaray are 2 - 1 down both with about 10 minutes to go

 

Hey, we are happy with "well, better than last year" we had a good run, might take a huge * on our weak league again for the third time in a row and maybe see you in the playoffs next year haha.

I believe we are on a good path to becoming a decent European club, at least fortify our spot as top 3 in the ex-yugoslav Balkan states among Dinamo Zagreb and Red Star Belgrade.
