    Reminds me of Malky MacKay

    Poor signing.

    Bitton is miles better.

I think he was good 2nd half. Great block, defended the box well.

First half concerned me tho. Poor at defending balls over the top or round the side of him. Hopefully he improves that side of things

His comments were just talksport *. In terms of "who is he" and the above stats. He did score in the World Cup finals for Ireland. IMO he's still a * for those comments, however folk should know who he is before dismissing him as a *.

Don’t judge him on 3 nil strolls at home. Judge him in Europe, against the huns, Pittrode and Easter Road. The big man be worth his weight in gold.

nudged by Nesbitt our striker does that free kick is awarded.

This is my worry when we play sevco as they have pace up front and need Duffy to be on his game that day .

Going up for set pieces, he's outstanding. At the back, I'm not sure yet. As others have said, it's a totally different job he has now and he's probably not match fit yet, so I'll wait.

However, I did think he was poor today and actually I've not been at all impressed by him in any game so far (except attacking set pieces).

Early days, but. Hopefully this post looks stupid as * next May.

Duffy was brought in to stop big Strikers from bullying our defence & he has done that so far. Yes he struggles with the ball in behind but the others will help with that, sure wee Taylor done that today with a cracking clearance.

We wouldn't have drawn with Kilmarnock if Duffy was playing against their big Striker.

They don’t have pace upfront in terms of el donkey that’s who duffy will need to mark and allow the wingbacks and Ajer and 1 other to deal with Kent and AN Other

Read all your replies. The only person who did reply was making an apology for the player's ability stating that he would prevent defenders being bullied. He's too slow to get near a Morelos anyway haha.

Some of the posters on this forum are bonkers!

Duffy is average, good enough to hold his own in our league but thats about it.He,s a big lad who,s not afraid to stick his head in and he will score a few goals.

I think he is a good addition to our squad but as i said hes average and not without his faults, some people are putting his mistakes down to lack of fitness but imo its as good as it gets.

I got the feeling judging by some of the comments when he signed that some people thought he was better than he actually is,maybe their a bit disappointed by some of his displays(early days)but as i said imo he will hold his own in our league and will score goals so i think hes a good addition to the squad.

We lacked a proper physical, leading, presence in both boxes prior to him arriving and were regularly bullied by average strikers purely because they were big or physical.

He’s been brought in to sort that and sort that he will, he’s anything but average. Particularly in the context of our requirements.
