That’s my point. Lennon isn’t using the squad to its potential. Brown is due to play his 5th game in 15 days.

We’ve got Turnbull, Ntcham and Rogic on the bench who could/should be in there ahead of him today.

Players like Soro, Connell etc who just don’t get any game time at all.

    C'mon the hoops :shamrock:

I'm struggling with the line ups. I haven't given up on Lenny yet, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't very concerned about how things seem to be looking in from the outside.

Unfortunately jeannie he isn’t still the man- hes been a great servant and a great captain will continue to give his best- it’s just old Father Time catches up with everyone and in the last year it’s blatantly obvious hes lost a yard of pace which causes him to be slow in the tackle and also give umpteen dangerous free kicks away in dangerous position s- hes been booked 6 times in 8 games and only a matter of time before he gets sent off

Yep too much pessimism and I'm just as guilty of it at times

'Scott was OK after the game. He was scraped down the back of his calf. After the game and on the flight home, he didn’t seem too concerned about it'

That's what he said about Broonie

I love Broony and have defended him to hilt on here but this isn't just about him.

Imagine how deflating it must be for a Soro to have chosen us after hitting form in Israel to then see the guy he's meant to succeed be out of form and then take a scrape on Thurs....only to be overlooked again.

Imagine being a Turnbull and be dominating games with Motherwell at the start of the season, to make the move and be given barely any game time at all despite what I've said above.

That's not how you foster a healthy, competitive squad where people know their efforts will be rewarded if they put in the graft. The complete opposite actually.

Probably go out there and have a blinder today :50: I can't help it I love the guy and I believe he still has one last bit of oomph in him to grab the game by the scruff of the neck.

Some players are on egg shells, some are immune from the risk of losing their place.

I do understand all of that. I agree that Broony needs to be managed in games and not an automatic first pick. I'm looking forward to seeing these new guys play. It really is down to Lenny.
