Ajer and our right sided defender?

A competent manager would attack our left.

    * playing 3-5-2 until we sign the players to do so effectively. Personally I wouldn’t play Brown, but I don’t think there’s any way Lennon won’t.

we’re in the position where the fans will absolute crucify any decision away from 352, that feeds into the team for me, even without it being like that in the stadium.

It’s quite poisonous just now, I think if we start Ajeti and Eddy upfront the quality will be there regardless though.

Why would fans crucify the decision to move away from a formation which blatantly isn’t working at the current time? I’d be absolutely sick if I thought that should or would effect the manager’s decision. He needs to be big enough to make the right decision.

A big part of the issue at the moment is the lack of tactical cohesion and the fact we’re over reliant on certain individuals’ abilities pulling us through. That’s not the answer.

Good point definitely mate, think it effects the feeling around the club, it’s what fans kept going mental crying out for and it’s clearly what we want to do moving forward. Think if it moving away from it goes wrong at all is when fabs will do the full Real white hanky treatment.

I’ve no doubt that fans feelings wouldn’t come into the thinking when getting the best players and best formation on the pitch though.

To be fair, if he doesn’t change it after tonight and we drop points, fans will be going mental asking why he hasn’t made changes. It’s the joy of being the Celtic manager.

It’s obvious right now that changes are needed and that the 3-5-2 (at least until we bring in a suitable left sided player) needs shelved. To be perfectly honestly I’d rather slip up trying to make positive changes than slip up continuing with a massively flawed game-plan which everyone can see just isn’t working.

Here’s hoping things click on Sunday though and every fan ditches the negativity and gets behind the team and manager :60:

Teue mate, cos he’ll get slaughtered for making no changes as well :56:

but, needs to be 352 if both Ajeti and Eddy’s fit and available.

This game has got to be a concern for us the way we are playing. Holding on at the end of games against St.mirren and Livi, lucky not to concede a few to County and then that * show against Riga. We've been hoaching since we went 3-5-2. Looked like conceding every time a team gets over the half way line.

On paper it's our best system, in reality it's not working and forces some of our most creative players out the team or in to roles that don't suit them.

We have no suitable LWB either leaving the left side devoid of any attacking thrust. The whole team is disjointed and yeah it gets us 2 strikers on the pitch, or it was meant to at least but that pro doesn't out way the cons.

A 4-4-2, 4-4-2 diamond or dare I say it, back to the 4-2-3-1 would all be preferable to me right now.

Whether even changing the system would make a huge difference is another matter as there seems to be a bit of a cloudy atmosphere about the squad right now. I don't know why it is but I definitely get that feeling this season.

I know I've mentioned it before but I hate playing 3 centre backs. Is 4-4-2 been outlawed. I love seeing full backs and wingers.
    Team will probably be
    Barkas
    Hamed Duffy Ajer
    Frimpong Christie Calmac Brown Taylor
    Ajeti Edouard

We are an accident waiting to happen.

Brown, Taylor etc will start again and we will lose by atleast 2 goals. Dreading this game.

We are eventually going to run out of luck here

If he starts taylor and brown and we drop points, serious serious questions need to be asked

This should be the team but we know it won't be and that Brown and Forrest will get the full 90mins regardless if we're losing or winning 5-0.
