With Premier league clubs spending less I'm not sure anybody will come in.

    Either unfit or unhappy.

Didn't think he was showing for the ball enough, touch was awful, and just generally looked like he was going through the motions. I actually hope he's got some kind of injury or fitness issue. If that's him at full speed then there's obviously something else going on.

Had 10 minutes that he looked lively and that was it. He’s an exceptional player, so to turn in a performance like that against a very poor team is a worry.

Gonna give him the benefit of the doubt that he's unfit, don't think he's the sort of player to down tools.

I think the opposite, clubs will look at him and think he will represent good value for money, around 20-25 mil will be well within the reach of many EPL clubs.

Can’t believe how bad he played. I want to tell myself he wasn’t fit or something but he didn’t seem interested. I’d love to see the Stats he must’ve lost it basically every touch tonight.

he’ll be giving Taylor a run for his money as the worst player if he keeps that up. It was ridiculous he was kept on for 80mins to be honest

He’s just having a dry spell. Because he hasn’t been on form of late I think he’s trying to do too much or it all himself on the ball rather than play it simple and do a little 1-2 or lay it off even. Instead there’s players on him and he’ll try run by 3 and stumble over. Right now he needs to be the team player. If players double up lay it off, make a run, create space. Doing this then his chances will come and if not he will feed others chsnces

Don’t think he’s downed tools, just a bit off form. Tbh with the whole covid thing and no fans at games playing for Celtic has probably lost a lot of its appeal, playing Hamilton etc in a souless stadium must be pretty boring getting now. Same in most leagues but he could make double the money somewhere else.

I think every player has been off form when we play against teams sitting in this season

People need to drag players away from a lot more than we are just now. Equally though, he needs to involve those around him and make options.

I don’t think he will go because there’s not enough dough floating about to prise him away and to be honest it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s a bit deflated there is no concrete interest.

There’s only one way for that to change come the next couple windows and that’s to bang them in so hopefully the window shutting will be the making of his season.

Eddie is far better than what he shown tonight. As soon as he got the ball tonight, he had 2 or 3 bodies round him almost every time. Only time he got space was when he dropped in front of their midfield. But it's not too our benefit or Eddies. He has had a frustrating pre season without scoring a goal, but things looked to have picked up after the Hamilton game.

For domestic games, I would like to see him as part of a front 3. Not as the central striker, but off the left hand side. Or even behind Ajeti. Allow him a bit less responsibility to be in the area or the main target.

My biggest worry is that he won't be here at all.

He’s usually not relying on others playing him in, he usually almost forces the pass to him through his movement.

For me, Eddy at his best makes creativity easy for his midfield, just now he’s making it there jobs to make it easy for him.

I just think he needs help in the form of a strike partner, operating from the left.

Been * all season, Hamilton game aside. Looks totally uninterested and its a big factor in why we've struggled in most games.

If he's one of those that doesn't want to be here he needs to be sold asap, to allow us to utilize the funds properly and not be scrambling around on deadline day. If not he needs to get his * together, sharpish.

Few bad games and media rumours shouldn’t be enough to turn on the best striker we’ve had in nearly 20 year.

Eddy deserves the benifit of the doubt, let’s just see wit happens

Still resigned to thinking he’ll be gone. It won’t be any less disappointing when it happens though.
