Seems pointless to say that if FF were here we would've done this or that, bottom line is he isn't and i think Barkas will turn oot to be a great signing for us, good luck tae FF in whatever he does, but ain't a Celtic player any more, think we should be giving Barkas our full support.

He made his choice, time to support the keeper we have rather than undermining him with FF talk.

Think there’s a right good chance Barkas doesn’t go on Talkceltic

    * it, I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

In reality obviously not happening and Barkas hasn't really put a foot wrong.

Not really,he wanted the money and made his choice.Would not be surprised to see him move to another english club despite wanting to fight for his place at his current team.:fear:

His agent thought they would get a big club but to be honest I think this summer was a summer where keepers were generally so far down the pecking order for clubs to bring in new ones. Now that it will be 6 months before fans in grounds I don't see him going anywhere this summer.

I can't get over what he's done this summer. He should be sacking his agent without a doubt.

32 years old, just had one of the best seasons of his career in terms of achievement and excitement and now he's sitting in the stands or on the bench for relegation candidates.

I know he'll be delighted with the money etc. and it's super trendy to be cynical about it all, but it's naive as * to discount the feeling of being wanted or playing as part of a successful team.

If this is how his careers finishes there's no way he's sitting in his 40s without a tonne of regret.

What was the rumours about what happened anyway? Last I heard it wasn't solely about money as such but more the fact he wanted a permanent move, which I have a bit more respect for.

I’m still gutted he never came back and it’s bit him on the *.

thing is I’m not convinced with our new keeper if I’m honest, and if there was any chance of getting him back then we need to look at it.

I don’t see it happening of course but wouldn’t mind it.

Honestly mate, last year he would have seen if the feeling of being loved and appreciated was worth £50k odd less a week. He decided himself it wasn’t. As much as I’ve always loved the big *, and thank him for all the great moments he’s gave me as a supporter, * him.

Forster rejected the chance to join us, he's not coming back. We need to get behind our new keeper, who hasn't really put a foot wrong other than the fact he's not Fraser Forster.

Ironically, that’s almost the same reason Forster was criticised at first - he wasn’t Artur Boruc.
