    True but we should be brave in these games especially at home. Two up top and attack them from the off, the three at the back should be enough cover to stay solid especially if one of Ntcham or McGregor sits deep in midfield to intercept/break up counters.

    Hate how negative and 'safe' that lineup was. Lennon picking players on their record rather than form/tactics.

    Unless you can defend you'll always struggle and this team cannot even do the basics, defensively. Why do we think we can play so open? How arrogant and misguided to think we can play the same way in European competition as we do against Hamilton Accies and co. Our supposed back four in reality means Taylor upfield on the left wing, Ajer and Jullien 20 yards apart and running about like headless chickens. Only Elhamed has any sort of defensive discipline and positional sense. Clearly the management team have learnt nothing from the last few years.

    It’s absolute negligent from the board. The management team aren’t faultless either with their team selection and formation.
