I've never seen him play but looking at transfrmarket he isn't a Striker, plays behind the striker or on the wings usually, could maybe be a Rogic replacement?

Might not be a great striker but the guy is a tank. Could be a good foil for Eddy

There must be better options out there for the money being quoted. I am wondering if when scouting Barkas we came across him as he scored a hat trick against AEK in a Euro tie last season and looked impressive in that game.

On AEK a player that impresses me from them is Marko Livaja, he has a great touch, comfortable with the ball on the ground and in the air and also has that tenacious style that makes him tough to play against. He is approaching 27 so in his prime but also in the last year of his deal.

Would rather big Anthony Nwakaeme. Guy was an absolute beast. Beer Sheva were * but he was impossible to get the ball off .

Trabzonspor's new coach, Eddie Newton, asked Ekuban to remain in the team in his talks with the management, while the management accepted Celtic's latest offer. Celtic offered a 8 million Euro transfer fee for Ekuban to the burgundy-blues, as well as various bonuses. The Trabzonspor front also accepted the Scottish club's offer.

The transfer of Ekuban, which is also a candidate from the Gulf countries, is expected to become clear in a short time. It is also among the information that the 26-year-old football player will go to Scotland in two to three days and undergo a health check if there is no major mishap at the last minute.

APPROXIMATELY 7 MILLION EURO PROFIT IN 2 YEARS

Ekuban, which Trabzonspor rented for 200,000 Euros in August 2018 and received 1 million Euros in July 2019, has doubled its value with its performance. Burgundy-blue residents managed to mark the league even though they stayed away from the fields for a while due to injury, while using the 26-year-old striker both on the wings and in the striker. Trabzonspor will earn a testimonial income of at least 8 million Euros from Ekuban, for which it spent 1.2 million Euros.

If this is true then Eddie is offski :54:

This guy seems more of a wide man tbh. Not a natural striker. We are * crying out for a wide player.

If we must sign a big non-scoring striker that can also cover out wide I'd honestly rather Enner Valencia or Oumar Niasse on a free.

Good news is Turkish media is usually a lot of *.

Enner Valencia is tiny and this guy isn’t big.

If we want big, we’ve missed out on Ikpeazu already :fear:

Seems a bit of an out there source but if this comes through 1 or 2 of our high value players (Eddy, Ntcham, Ajer, Christie) are for the off.

There is no way we are spending £4.5m x2 on a GK and Striker, £3m on a CM, £1.5m on a youth prospect (Hickey), £2-5m on CB Duffy (loan or perm) and then €8m on a winger/forward so more than £20m total. All in the same season as having a challenge to our club from COVID lockdown.

It sounds like we will get ~£4m for Rogic, we got £1.3m for Kouassi and if Dembele leaves Lyon between £4-6m from our sell on. So will bring in between £9.3-£11.3m from those deals. Still can’t see at least one of the above leaving.
