In fairness I haven't seen him since he initially broke on to the scene and I remembered him looking quick but I could absolutely be wrong on this

 

Would be interesting to see what we would do if we got him in and loaned him straight out.

Boli has to go and Taylor isn’t good enough to be first choice. Wonder if we might get a loan in such as Bakker from PSG for the season for first choice with Taylor as back up?

Just can’t see us buying another first choice left back, get Hickey in and then to loan him out and then we still have Taylor and Boli as well.

Assuming that Boli leaves, next season that could possibly leave us with a new permanent first choice LB, Taylor and Hickey possibly returning from loan.

Don’t see how that works unless it was just a loan for a LB this season then Taylor and Hickey competing next season? Unless Taylor was to be off ski next year and it was a new LB and Hickey.

 

Would be happy to sign him and loan him back to Hearts. I don't want us playing a left back this season though - 3 at the back please and Hickey doesn't fit into that.

 

Who would you play on the left if we play 352?

 

If we are loaning him out it should be in the top Division, use him to get Turnbull.

Is he right footed?

Bologna the best deal for the lad in that case. I’d be gutted if we loaned him straight back out, think he could put in a shift now, splitting game time with Taylor.

 

Quicker and stronger than Taylor as you can see in the video and even in the first 10 seconds he goes by player's more than I've ever seen Taylor at us..

Decent that and shows his composure throughout..

 

Same. I think he'll be a far better player than Taylor but I think we need a quality left back in just now that's ready to go..

New left back in
Taylor backup left back as he won't go anywhere
Hickey for his development to be playing most week's..

 

Someone like him would be ideal..

We've so much pace and threat from the right. If we had an athletic, attacking quality left back/wing back on the other side....team's wouldn't be able to cope with us..

I know what they say about you tube player clips but he does look very good.

 

He was apparently at Celtic Park and Lennoxtown yesterday. Celtic have an accurate idea of what Hearts’ demands are, but no deal has been put on the table as yet.

If it’s true that he’s made his decision, I’d expect this one to be a pretty quick mover.

I’d love us to sign him as he had bundles of potential, but I’m not convinced he’s the answer to our LB issues this season. A loan (but hopefully higher than the championship) could well be on the cards.

 

A winger, not a defender. Elyounoussi as it stands.

Really rate the lad and don't see why he wouldn't get plenty of game time over the course of the season even if we sign another LWB that's considered first choice.

Looks like he would be comfortable on either side so way I see it he'd be getting the game time Bauer and Hayes got last season. Could see him overtaking Taylor by the end of season then pushing to be first choice from there.
