Who the * is Jamal Lowe and why are Wales online claiming we're in competition with swansea to sign him from broke * Wigan?

 

Apparently Sampdoria are desperate to sell a few players to raise some money, which might also explain our link to Omar Colley. Ramírez wouldn’t be cheap either transfer fee or salary wise I wouldn’t imagine and would have next to no resale value. I’d be surprised if we signed him.

26 year old right winger who’s only played full time professional football for three or four years. Six goals and five assists in 46 games last season. If that’s the standard, I’d rather we just signed Boyle from Hibs.

 

Scored 15 goals in league 1 the season before. If Wigan sell cheap it would be a reasonable back up.

 

Didn’t know where to put this but see Meiling got a goal and assist on his league debut for Nimes today.

I will never understand why paying a fee of £2.5m+ for Taylor when Meiling was available for a fee of likely at most £1m seemed a good idea.

 

He went cheap this summer as his contract expired in December. In 2019 he probably would have cost more. Personally I was never majorly sold on Melling.

Suggestion Arbenit Xhemajli, played for a poor side in the Swiss top league but looks a decent player, still young at 22 has recently been capped by Kosovo and os naturally left footed although from the video below looks like he Is also comfortable on his right. At 6ft 3 he seems a presence in both boxes. Maybe not as our main CB signing but could be a good option to play the left side of a back three.

 

He doesn't half like a slide tackle! Between him and Ajer we'd have two red cards waiting to happen lol.

Looks decent in all honesty, comfortable the ball with his feet. I'd like us to bring in 2 centre backs especially if one is a loan.

 

Suggestion for Left Back Casper Hojer Nielsen from Aarhaus GF, 25 year old Danish left full back who scored A few goals and assisted 9 in 35 last season where the team came 3rd in Superligaen.



I also liked the look of Borna Sosa of Stuttgart but he has a pretty horrendous injury list and is only 22, so probably one to avoid. Looks a good player when he can get on the park.

 

Alex Pelmard from Nice and Alex Pritchard of Huddersfield been mentioned on the Huddleboard. Boy from Nice is a left back.

 

All these players we seem to be going for (duffy turnbull hickey riquelme) plus the quality we've already signed... barkas ajeti elyounoussi...anyone else think dermot is part funding our 10 in a row season? Our signings so far and the targets we're going for feels so much more ambitious than any transfer window in a long while. Could be wrong but just a thought that popped into my head.

 

I’m assuming this is meant to be Andy Pelmard? If so, he’s a centre back not a left back, but one out of three details isn’t bad for the Huddleboard I suppose.

Pritchard is a decent player, but more an attacking midfielder than a winger so probably not a necessity if the Turnbull deal goes through.

 

I think looking at romain perraud again, boy looked a talent last year and is especially good going forward , would suit our 352

 

Shame he would sit on the bench for 80 minutes until we actually went 3-5-2...

 

Only has 1 of the 3 essentials we look for so deffo a non starter..

 

Good pedigree and at 29 still a reasonable age.

Caleb Ekuban, Aaron Hickey, David Turnbull.

 

If Chelsea sign Thiago Silva we should be pushing for Tomori on loan. We’ve been linked before.
