As i said, when they signed Wanyama they'd had one season in the prem, finishing 14th and he was our best player and another one that we thought could play for a bigger club than Southampton. Its easy to forget that not too long before they signed Wanyama they were in League One, Only 3 seasons prior. The money has only got more ridiculous down there since.

I completely agree itd be a terrible move for him, but its not completely unrealistic for him to go to any of the Prem teams with the money they have

Wanyama going to a team like Southampton makes a * of a lot more sense than Eddy going to Villa.

Southampton were far better than this Villa team, but as a defensive midfielder, there's not really any teams that he wouldn't have been able to shine in.

A top class striker going to relegation fodder would be beyond stupid. Honestly wouldn't be many (viable) worse moves for him to make. It's like Ajeti going to West Ham, albeit on a smaller scale.

Villa, West Ham, Newcastle etc. The sort of clubs strikers go to and die on their *.

I dont disagree but i just think the league that we play in will put a limit on what we will get for a player even if they are as good as Edouard

Selling club?every club sells players. That is a phrase used by huns to spin it when we turn players into stars and sell them at a profit. People never think of the players we didn't sell but could have such as Forrest, McGregor, Boyata, Rogic (for far more than we would get now), Ntcham after 1 season and plenty of others.

Only Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Everton have won league titles. Only them clubs have finished in the so called "top6" more or equal ever. Plus they're won a European Cup.

Villa are a massive club, just a sleeping giant. And their owners are amongst the richest in the EPL.

Still, Edouard is capable of a club who are already there and winning. Plus he should stick around for 10inarow regardless of who comes knocking, and Celtic should keep hold regardless of price tag. His value is only going to increase.

The board should keep Eddie at all cost this season and if they sold him and it cost us the league then heads need to roll .
Yes I know we are a selling club but this season is massive for the support and be never in this position again maybe for a long time .
I think Eddie is happy to stay till the end of the season and if we win the ten he can go with out good wishes and the board still can get good money for him .

I mean, we're slightly bigger IMHO; but any Celtic fan that puts them in the same bracket as Southampton is showing the same kind of attitude as EPL fans that think we aren't a big club. That's why I don't really enjoy hearing that kind of ignorant stuff on here.

I agree they are sleeping giant I’m not sure about owners being richest in epl though I had heard they were financially troubled until they got promotion and gambled with spending the whole tv budget last year on players it worked by a ball hair of course

Sleeping giant my ring. They will be a yoyo club, fighting relegation every season they are in EPL.
Eddy can do a lot better than this bunch.
Cant stand that * Grealish. Totally over rated, Souness has his card marked.

Even if he's out we've had plenty of time to prepare our squad for the qualifiers
