Considering could easily get 5/6 years outta him 5 mill is a no brainer, wouldn't say he doesn't have much resale value his pl and international experience could easily see a prem team come in well into his 30s and throw profitable money at us.. wages only potential stumbling block.

You are correct in what you said at the start of the message - at that price it really is a no brainer. But no way we would turn a profit if we kept him for 5 years. Not that that should make a difference in our pursuit of him though.

I agree not 5 years, I meant 2/3 years he would still command a decent fee , either way I hope if he comes he's here for the foreseeable

Think it's time up for rogic been saying it to my mates since xmas if were getting a quality cb for a guy who let's be honest is a bench warmer most seasons then get it done we still have Ntcham Christie for no 10 but I also think we should be bringing in a decent CDm been saying it for years now I'd be looking a campbell at Motherwell every time I see him hes brilliant flys under the radar imo really under rated plus hes only 21/22

Celtic could use Tom Rogic as a makeweight in their bid to sign top defensive target Shane Duffy from Brighton.

The Aussie midfielder is likely on his way out of Celtic Park with a £4million move to Qatar also on the cards.

But the 27-year-old could be used as bait to do a deal with Brighton over the signing of boyhood Hoops fan Duffy.

The English Premier League club are looking to get rid of the Republic of Ireland international after he dropped down the pecking order at the club.

Adam Webster and Lewis Dunk are already ahead of him and returning loanee Ben White will also jump ahead of him in Graham Potter's plans as well as new signing Joel Veltman.

Record Sport exclusively revealed that it's a straight shootout between Celtic and West Ham for the big centre back, with the Hammers likely to be able to blow the Hoops out of the water with their wages

Neil Lennon's men hope the romantic notion of signing for his boyhood club can convince him to move to Glasgow

A loan deal is still a potential option but Brighton's interest in Rogic means the club could look to include him in a permanent move for Duffy.

The Daily Express say Celtic have discussed it and will look to get him involved in any deal if it helps them get the 28-year-old north of the border.

Not wishing to be alarmist here, but....

Bha already have a number of CAM's, such as Gross, Mooy and Trossard. It just doesn't figure they would want Rogic as well.
Especially if Tom can't complete 90 mins in the SPL.

Edouard on the other hand is very much on their radar, and there's over 10 pages and 100+ messages on their fans forum (big board - NSC) about how they could potentially recruit him.

With signing polish paddy and Ajeti recently, and with Griff in reserve, this seems a far more logical approach from Bha.

Personally I would much prefer we just keep both Edouard and Rogic, and then just sign Duffy to strengthen our squad.

Edouard will go to a much better team than BHA next year.

Mooy is better the deeper he is, he’s more of a box to box. Trossard is more of a left winger. Gross can play in a lot of positions.

There’s Davy Propper and Adam Lallana though.

Mooy has probably talked up Rogic a lot I’d guess. Ryan Mathew is there too.

I don’t think I can put this simply enough: Odsonne Edouard will not be signing for Brighton.

Not this year, not next, not ever.

Brighton could not afford Eddy nevermind him even considering going there :56:

Rogic has been linked before with Brighton, could be a good move for him and be a decent swap deal.
