We need a number 10 now. Someone with real creativity.

Absolutely shocking this, the only player in our squad who can do what he does, a creative 10 who is capable of turning the game in an instant, such good feet for a tall man and he is perfect for games where we are struggling to break sides down (EG last weekend). Understand he's limited in terms of fitness & pace ect but a fully firing Rogic is our most technical player for me or deffo up there with Ntcham & Eddy. He's our only natural no10, don't mind Moi in there but he's not ours and for me Ntcham is a centre mid, Christie is also a CM he's not creative or technical enough for the 10. Think this is a huge mistake on our part and please to * do not replace him with Turnbull who is a good player but also a different player.

4m is a * price but if he has to go, hopefully we replace him with someone nearly as good and don't bring in another project player to sit and rot.

If u go Tom, what a * player all the best.

If he goes then there's the money for Turnbull.

Will be sad to see him go as on his day he can pull off stuff nobody else in our squad can, unfortunately it's been far too long since he's had one. If the money pays for Turnbull and goes towards either a cb or lb that will contribute this season then I would let him go. Gave us one of the greatest memories of our lifetime and will always be grateful for it.

This sums it up perfectly. Aye he’s no at his work enough but he is the only guy in the squad that can do what he does. Wouldn’t be against Turnbull but as a replacement for Rogic it’s not exactly like for like.

Would probably be wise to take the money, constantly injured and barely played the last two years anyway. Wouldn't even feel like losing a player. Only started 22 of our last 70 League games.

I think you could haggle for a bit more maybe try and get £5 million to £6 million but it's a fair offer considering he hasn't really been a consistent starter for us and has a lot of fitness and injury issues. If he goes I'll miss him. When fit he's one of the most talented and creative players in our team and has scored many brilliant and crucial goals for us. He has been a great servant and I've never seen him complain or cause issues for our managers. If he goes thank you for the memories big man.

Easy money, in a slow paced style league, with a division full of inferior players.
I for one am not surprised.

I'm not trolling or looking for a row, I've never had the love for him that a lot of Celtic fans do but surely even his most ardent fans if they take off the green tinted specs must agree its a move that kinda sums him up.

His technical ability is amazing, his workrate on the pitch is what holds him back from being truly great. Take the 4 and run.

Can't argue with that. A good way of looking at it too with the positives it could reap which we also need by the way.

Wouldn't be sad to see him go given his contribution has been limited in recent seasons and don't see that changing. One things for sure tho, he will always be remembered for that invincible treble and has had some magical moments in the hoops.

So if he does go, all the best and thanks for some unbelievable memories!

It's the right thing for him and us, cracking player and he's given us some great moments, but it's important that we freshen things up, best of luck to him.

Apparently he’s on £1 million bonus if we do the 10, so this suits Lawwell. :fear:

Don't really see Turnbull as a like for like replacement at all, but it'll be hard to replace Rogic's qualities as he's quite a unique player.

I know a lot of people are saying he doesn’t play a lot of games/minutes etc.

Think of all the massive moments he’s been involved in despite his apparently limited time.

That’s why he should be kept.

If he could play at his quality for 90 minutes in 40 games a season he’d be in a much better team than us. We need workhorses to earn 85% of the points and guys like Tam to come in and win the stubborn 15% and the odd trophy here and there.

Seems like this is happening. Gonna miss the big fella, he's been a big part of our 9 in a row success with some real moments of magic. I'd like to see Turnbull come in but also I'd also like to have seen us keep a hold of Tom.. can be such a good impact player from the bench even if he isn't contributing for 90mins week in, week out.

    Also £4mill?..fooking robbery!!
