Seriously if this guy didnt have the injury problems He's had his whole career he would have been playing at a very high level for a long time now. Heres hoping now that hes going to manage to stay injury free and actually fulfill his potential that he so obviously has had. A feckin great player we have if he does

He's as steady as a rock and impresses me every time I see him play.

Could have been a contender for player of the year last year if he hadn't got injured.

Really hope he stays fit all season. Even better than Lustig for me!

After watching his first few performances I wondered why we got him for such a small fee, relatively speaking. Then you see his injury record and you see why!!
Very good player and if we could only keep him fit...

Hes a fantastic player and a model pro.

Praying he stays fit as I feel we are a better side defensively with him in the side.

    One thing about El Hammed...

Even after a lengthy lay off he seems one of those players who can come straight back in the side and put in a performance.

I'd be tempted to keep him for the big games that need that bit of dig in the side...

Better all round than frimpong for me, but because of age/resale value can’t see him playing as much as jeremie

He would start the big games ahead of Frimpong for me, much stronger defensively.

Given his injury issues and the fact Frimpong is still developing you could see a good balance that will give both plenty of game time. Frimpong at home on the wide park with plenty of space to expose opposition particularly when teams sit in and defending is secondary. El Hamed more away from home on tighter parks. You also have the option of playing Frimpong RW, as with his attributes I could see him being brilliant there.

I think the break will have done him a world of good. Time to recover from his injury properly.

If we are sticking with a back 4 I'd actually like to see how he would do at RB and Frimpong playing ahead of him on the RW. I think they would overlap very well and would cause defences problems as they wouldn't know who to go with as either could go forward or cover back. Especially in those periods when Forrest is off his game.

Obviously with a 3-5-2 Frimpong at WB and him in the back 3 would be ideal, I'm just not sure Lenny would drop Ajer, if we get Duffy, to do that.

Dissappointed he didn't start today, when he's fit he needs to start for me.

I think it’s more about managing his fitness in regards to him not starting. Reckon he starts on Wednesday or Sunday
