Terrible tragedy this. Awful for those who have lost their lives or been injured.
Looking at the footage though it’s extremely fortunate that the numbers involved weren’t much higher.

Any loss of life is tragic but * forbid what the loss of life’s would have been if the train had been packed .

RIP, thoughts & prayers to those injured, families and friends.

If you have a problem with my opinion the place to have a go would be in the thread I expressed it in, or even PM me, instead of being snide/trying to score some cheap point in a thread that is about the tragic deaths and serious injury of people caught up in this train crash.

As for Davidson, if she has indeed failed to express her sympathy for what has happened that would be sickening.. Of course the ironic thing is - here you are having a pop at her, while trying to have a go at me, for doing something you haven't even bothered to do yourself in this thread either.. The irony :50:

R.I.P to those that lost their life, as bad as it is, this could've been a whole lot worse.

Oh you responded this time I should think myself honoured, I didn’t do either ya silly *, I mentioned you thought she was some great MSP and would be a loss to Holyrood. You must be losing it in old age though it must be hard not having Angus around to bully ya sausage.

Aye could’ve been catastrophic under different circumstances, anyway RIP to those who lost their life’s and hopefully the injured aren’t in any serious way.

See The Sun are up to their usual standards with "Death Express" on the front page.

Know the conductor in passing. Always seemed like a really nice guy.

One of the staff walked along the tracks for over a mile to raise the alarm. They may have saved some lives.

This has hit my railway family hard, felt right across the network. Sad times.RAIB will conduct a full investigation as they always do for any incidents on the rail network.

Seriously mate? That's * disgraceful. I absolutely despise that rag; I understand everyone's got to make a living somehow but I don't know how their journalists or editors can sleep at night.

Unfortunately its not just the redtops that lack empathy/are unable to show common decency.
