If we have grounds to dismiss him then the club can go after him for compensation for losses caused by his own dismissal.

The amount we spent on him should have absolutely no bearing on the decision to sack him, either morally or financially.

He should be sacked regardless for not only damaging the club’s reputation and risking severe financial damage, but for risking the health of every single member of staff currently involved with the first team. From a legal perspective, it’s an absolute no brainer.

From a financial point of view (which in my opinion shouldn’t even come into consideration), the fee we paid doesn’t matter. What matters is the wages due to him (apparently £14k per week) for the remainder of his contract, offset against any fee we could realistically get for selling him. You’re looking at roughly £2.1m in salary remaining on his contract and frankly there’s no way we’d recoup that sum as a transfer fee.

    Get him sacked.

Am I wrong in thinking there's a real risk this could jeopardise European football for us this season?

Wouldn't be sacking him, immediately suspend him and let the dust settle in a week or so get him punted on a nighttime flight back to Vienna on a permanent deal, we wanna be a small bit pragmatic here if eddy done this we wouldn't be sacking him we would be taking anything north of 30 mill and running .. I genuinely don't believe that no one of real financial value to us didn't do or wont do something stupid regarding covid .

Don’t see why the fitba should be stopped ffs. Didn’t see the royal family being postponed when old bonnie Charlie tested positive and came to Scotland to put the slippers on

Wouldn't sack him, it would just leave us wide open if a player flaunts the rules again further down the line. It's a long season ahead and these rules could be in place for quite some time. Not to mention talk of another 3 (4 if u count griff) who are supposedly being investigated by club. Fine him, reprimand him, bomb him to the reserves and try to move him on in this window or January.

Is there any other evidence of others involved other than 'a guy on Twitter'? Genuine question, haven't seen anything official.

    Clown of a boy.

At a time we've just dropped points we're now likely to get 8 points behind and have to play catch up in an already congested fixture list.

Terminate his contract with immediate effect, this wasn't a lapse in concentration.

What an absolute *. Look forward to the games all week and then he * it all up.

That doesn’t even touch on how damaging this can be to our wider season.

Why would the following game be off? If he was back on Tuesday then surely we could start playing again next Tuesday?
