I’d take him as a squad player and loan Shved to Hibs.

Going to be a lot of games this season, only worry is his injury history.

He isn't a big name but he's cheap, grafts, is rapid and scores/assists regularly in our league..

He wouldn't be the worst if Forrest was out for a couple of game's..

Ideally I'd want another winger in with more guile and with more versatility..

Turnbull and him are probably the best of the rest in our league..

Hickey potentially also..

 

I would have no problem with him coming in as cover to Forrest. Fast, direct and can chip in with goals from the wings Suits exactly how we play. Would even be handy for Euro always as a outball.

Would be cheap and would be on the lower end of the wage scale. So even if it didn’t work out it wouldn’t be the end of the world.

 

This has a Lennon signing all over it, he would be a utility player given he can play a number of positions including both flanks, either as a winger, wing back or in a two upfront.

He has a lot of pace and does seem to have added an end product of late but his injury record worries me. He would be a cheap and perhaps safe option but can’t help feel we would be better off giving Dembele a game as Forrest’s understudy or that we couldn’t find a better option for not too much more.

Say we would have to pay £500k-£1mil for Boyle or £1-2mil for Alberth Elis for example I would rather go with the later.

 

Is he going to be the new johnny hayes ? can fill in on both sides , has a goal in him pretty rapid , could be an ok squad player ?

 

Got to agree with end point as Eli’s did come on that money and impressed his value would shoot up

We have plenty OK squad players we dont need another one.

 

Just watched one of those 3 minute YouTube vids where they put together his best moments, and I can tell you right now this guy is better than Lionel Messi.

 

Anyways we will have to replace a midfielder cause one is definitely away however can't say who.

 

Yeah and given his contract being up in 5 months if Houston want something for him you would imagine they would have to accept a reduced fee, alternatively we could sign him to come when his contract is up. I am not sure what the MLS schedule is to be after the MLS is back tournament but if there aren’t a lot of fixtures then it would further the rationale to get something for him.

He is still only 24 so a couple of good seasons and he could be sold for decent money as well as making a good impact in the team.

I'd rather have Paddy, but maybe next year. Boyle would be decent, has great pace and eye for goal.

Just my opinion we need to sign this guy as a off the bench option Christie and Ntcham are central players and playing them wide is criminal

 

why does it need to be this guy tho? We are going for 10IAR here!! We should be pushing the boat out or at least having a better option than Boyle imo.

 

He knows Scottish football he ready when needed and he's cheaper than buying on the European market, i do agree we shpuld only be buying the best of our budget but while Lawell is in charge of the budget we're only getting a one or 2 players of the calibre we desire

 

He's in talks with hibs about a new contract according to the daily Rangers
