Don't care who the opposition is, one leg makes me infinitely more nervous about results.

Just checked & the first 3 qualifiers are also included in the pass for paradise. We don't usually give the home games to premier but they maye have changed it this year.

Just listening to BBC sportsound there discussing our game against Reykjavik. The host and * baws English mentioned the slight possibility of this being played at a neutral venue. What would the move be for?? Can't see it happening myself.

Should still be a formality really.

What’s the script with the draw tomorrow? Is it split into smaller groups again like today’s or are all the seeded able to draw any of the unseeded?

KR have only won 5 EL matches in their last 20 European outings. Molde destroyed them 7-1 and Maccabi Tel Aviv beat them as well.

Scotland will also earn a Europa League third qualifying round place for the winners the 2021 Scottish Cup, plus two places in the second qualifying round of the new Europa Conference League for the teams who finish third and fourth in this season's Premiership.

The sheep could have * us out of Europe.
If Nicola imposes restrictions on football because of those * then we are considered to have forfeited the tie.

    Effects of the COVID-19 pandemic[edit]
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, the following special rules are applicable to the qualifying phase and play-offs:[38]

    • Prior to each draw, UEFA will publish the list of known travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. All teams must inform UEFA if there are other existing restrictions other than those published. If a team fails to do so which as a consequence the match cannot take place, the team is considered responsible and to have forfeited the match.
    • If travel restrictions imposed by the home team's country prevent the away team from entering, the home team must propose an alternative venue that allows the match to take place without any restrictions. Otherwise they are considered to have forfeited the match.
    • If travel restrictions imposed by the away team's country prevent the away team from leaving or returning, the home team must propose an alternative venue that allows the match to take place without any restrictions. Otherwise UEFA will decide on a venue.
    • If after the draw, new restrictions imposed by either the home team's or away team's country prevent the match from taking place, the team of that country are considered to have forfeited the match.
    • If either team refuses to play the match, they are considered to have forfeited the match. If both teams refuse to play or are responsible for a match not taking place, both teams are disqualified.
    • If a team has players and/or officials tested positive for COVID-19 preventing them from playing the match before the deadline set by UEFA, they are considered to have forfeited the match.
    • In all cases, the two teams may agree to play the match at the away team's country or at a neutral country, subject to UEFA's approval. UEFA has the final authority to decide on a venue for any match, or to reschedule any match if necessary.
    • If, for any reason, the qualifying phase and play-offs cannot be completed before the deadline set by UEFA, UEFA will decide on the principles for determining the teams qualified for the group stage.

CELTIC need to wait for Scottish Government clarification if their Champions League first qualifying round tie against Kr Reykjavik can be played at Parkhead on August 18-19.

The Icelandic league is currently suspended due to Covid-19 and there is a question mark over them being able to use a so-called travel corridor for the one-legged tie in Glasgow.

UEFA have four designated neutral countries for ties – Greece, Cyprus, Hungary and Poland – which pose problems and one of them could yet be used to host the first meeting between the sides in six years.

The draw was made in Nyon earlier today while the second round ties will come out of the hat on Monday.

Celts boss Neil Lennon said: “Hopefully it will be at home and we are not sure yet if the game is going to be at a neutral venue or not.

“Hopefully it will be at Celtic Park and we’ll be delighted if it’s at home. That’s all we can ask for really. We’ll take it from there.”
