Anything less than a 1 nil win will be disappointing

Home tie. That's what was needed. Should be comfortable. 4-0. 2 from Eddy 2 from Ajeti.

With Covid, is this likely to be televised?? :shamrock:

Glad we avoided Linfield, wouldn't want them stinking up our lovely stadium.

Should be a good warm up for tougher opposition to come... home as well!

CELTIC will play KR Reykjavik of Iceland in the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round following today's draw in Nyon, Switzerland.

As per the competition's revised schedule amid the ongoing global pandemic, all qualifying rounds bar its playoff round will be single leg contests - with Celtic, drawn as the home side, set to play their first on either Tuesday, August 18 or Wednesday, August 19.

Scotland's 9-in-a-row champions will play four qualifying rounds all told, with Neil Lennon's side starting their journey against the Icelandic outfit.

Celtic last played KR Reykjavik in a UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie in 2014, which the Hoops won 5-0 on aggregate.

The draw for the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round will be made tomorrow (Monday, August 10), with matches scheduled to be played on Tuesday, August 25 and Wednesday, August 26.

Confirmation of date, kick-off time and venue will be published on the official Celtic website in due course.

Looking at the options I don't think we could have asked for much more.

I have been looking and trying to find some odds for the Linfield game to see if they are expected to get through, however nobody seems confident pricing it up. Maybe trying to figure out whether the Kosovans will be trying to win :fear:

So at least with this draw we know who we have and have that extra couple of days to prepare and look at the opposition.

Could be wrong, but I think Premier Sports only have the away rounds. Home ties are currently only on “Pass to Paradise” not sure if they’ll go PPV

What usually happens JC I think is Celtic don't allow the home ties to be televised to keep the attendance up. I think what @Sgt Neppers* means is obviously this is a different situation so will we change the policy ?Or will it just be for season book holders? The away games are usually just up for bids on an individual game basis but you're right the last few years Premier have been the ones showing them.
