Anyone ever tried to get photos off the icloud onto your computer? absolute murder.

No option to select them all, you have to select every day(at best) seperately - which they don't allow you to just drag all at once but you need to click every single day individually and you need to drag the wee sidebar bit down by clicking as if you press down on a keyboard it undoes all the clicking and if you need to avoid accidentally clicking "deselect all" which conveniently comes up right next to select both in the same colour. Also if you misclick select and just hit the page it also deselects everything.

Also after googling as I thought surely not and there must be some way to just do it, they also take all the data off the pictures like where/when/what time it was took.

 

You can CTRL + A to select them all.

But it will only let you download 1000 at a time.

So click the first one then roughly 1000 down do a Shift + click and it will select all inbetween.

Is this the same for Google back up. I've 1000s of pics now backed up but need to sort them out in files. Probably sit down over xmass and get it down when I've some time off. Really need to get it done though because my pics are all scattered all over the place in my back up. Would be good to get them in some order.

 

Thought this was going to be a fruit related thread, I prefer oranges.
