    Not one for posting tributes for folk dying but RIP to Rab Bannan an absolute Coatbridge legend and boxing trainer.

    The amount of young guys he put on the right road with the club cannot be understated. One of lifes superstars.

    Airdrie guy here, didn't know him but knew of him. great guy by all accounts did a lot of good work for a lot of people.

    Yes a very good person who did do a lot for kids in Coatbridge, he trained a good lot of boxers . I did a few sessions in the Barn , but now train with Pat Bannan at Bannan Fitness

    I didn't know of him but the work that boxing and martial arts trainers do for the community can't be understated.
