    Just glad to see the bhoys back. I thought it was a good run out and don't believe the first goal was offside.
    No, we don't play them. We each play Nice, Lyon and PSG.

    Decent enough run out and good to get the equaliser as we definitely didn’t deserve to lose that game. Some better finishing in the first half and we could have scored a few but will let them off given it was the first game back.

    Started particularly well first 25 just the final ball or finish letting us down and Nice couldn’t get out. After the changes I felt it took us a bit of time to adjust and no one was really getting near enough Klimala. When Dembele got on the ball you could see his class, just needed to get him more of the ball. I thought Welsh defended well during the spell after the changes. Henderson is never a left winger but got MJ to come back in there.

    Surprised by Welsh when he came on. Looked pretty decent.

    Anytime I've watched our youths they've looked a bit * defensively, so nice to see he might actually have something about him.

    Some nice touches from Soro as well. Dembele also looks ready to start pushing for some first team games. Looks to have grown a bit.

    I didn't know that and assumed they were all wrapped up together but I've had a quick look and can't see anything saying the Huns are playing PSG.

    How that goal was reversed by VAR is beyond me. Good run out, still a bit rusty and not as sharp, but given the circumstances, a really solid showing. Ntcham looked good when he came on too.

    As far as first preseason games go, I thought that was a really promising start. The first half, especially the first 25 minutes, our passing, movement and game control was excellent considering we had 4/5 months of no competitive football. We should have scored more with some of the chances we created.

    The back up players done well as well when they came on. Good to see Klimala and Soro on the pitch and Lennon said he was happy with their progress so fingers crossed that’s the first of many appearances for them both this season.

    Really good performance in that first half. We really should have been winning or at least level at half time. Thought the goal Eddy scored was perfectly legal. Taylor was impressive.

    Shame we never saw as much of the ball in the second half. Dembele wasn't able to get many touches but when he did, the ball just stuck to him. Excited to see more of him.
