Try Justin Guitar on YouTube. He has a song channel and a learning channel.
Buy a pocket book with the chords in it. That's all you need.
    * TABs and all that *. Just learn off other people (Youtube, friends, etc) and songs themselves.
    Quickest way.

Cheers lads. Will defo have a look at that!

Been something I'd love to be reasonably decent at is playing guitar. Play in a band? Wouldn't be a bad shout if I can get my fat fingers working well enough lol.

Never bothered getting a new guitar, but my * Ibanez is doing my head in noo. It * hates chords, simple power chords make the bottom three stings buzz, adjusted the truss rod so the neck is straight, still does it, adjusted the truss rod so there is some relief on the neck, still does it, raised the bridge so it's higher, still does it and I've put new stings on it.

At the point where I will pick it up and play it for about five minutes then get sick of the fret buzz and just put it down again.

    Would drive ye mad.

as a suggestion try heavier gauge strings. a lot of these Ibanez guitars don't like the lighter gauge ones ive found. failing that it might need re fretted.:50:

It looks fine, strings aren't touching the first fret or anything.

I've currently got 11-49s on it but did have it set up with 10-52s and it was just as bad.

If it needs refretted I don't think I'll bother, would probably cost way to much.

Get the frets levelled. A good guitar luthier shall take half an hour to do it.
What happens is the frets pop out a bit in places after a while on some guitars.
They paint the frets, run a long file down the neck and level them all off so no more buzz.
Will probably cost you a tenner.

My Casino is doing this at the 5th fret on the e,b and g strings. Will be getting them levelled as well myself.

Fender have become a parody of themselves recently.

They released those mix models (Tele hardware on a Jaguar etc.) which is what a thousand other knockoff brands did for years in the 80s nd 90s.
Now they release a guitar that looks like a Rivolta, which started off copying Jaguars and Jazzmasters and adding oold-timey pickups and scratch plates.

I think it looks class, tbh. I don’t know how it sounds of course, but I was just sharing its looks.

Though I love the sound of a Jaguar.
