I genuinely think Jet2 will cancel all Spanish holidays for the next 8 weeks from Scotland maybe even pull out Scotland all together so just resigned to the fact at least I will get my cash back that way.

still an issue for me is the numbers in England over 800 again today and R rate creeping up maybe keep an eye on that moreover than Spain!

Didn’t realise you meant to get the test I thought you were going to claim to have had it. My mistake.

as said the legislation was there before you travelled & no one knows what the chances of passing it on are if you have already had it.
Im pretty sure there were claims that people have had it twice already.
have you had it confirmed by test that you had it?

So apparently all Jet2 staff who are on the Spanish legs of their flights basically will be paid off the next few weeks, woman who works for our supplier nephew works there and their ops director for Scotland got word quarantine for Scots for Spain will be until end of October now due to surges in northern Spain.

so refund it is for me then!

I fly out to Crete this Thursday. We had originally planned to go to Spain but that got cancelled and to do it again from England we'd need to quarantine when we get home. No such problem with Greece so we're flying from Glasgow on Thursday 23rd July for 10 days.

    So that’s both flights including hotel, transfers etc. Probably nearer to £100 - £200 a flight x 180 = more like £18000 - £36000 a flight.

Well it’s still a fair whack of cash either way multiply that by 10 planes you could be looking at £1m

it’s just a general comment tbh

    You'll Never Walk Alone
if your holiday was cancelled and they are refusing refund just phone your bank and tell them that its a dodgy transaction. They will refund the money and seek to take it from the sellers.
Holiday companies and airlines can do * all about it. Its your money and you are entitled to the refund.
