Honestly not bothered about keeping him, we’re robbing Milan if we got anywhere near £20m.

Too right we are. Almost 3 times what we paid for Julien who is 3 times the player Ajer is.
Selling him for anything over what we paid for Julien is great business.
Selling him for £20m considering his many faults is * outstanding business. Would be more than happy to see him go

Would much rather keep him, but for 20 million i'd trust Lennon to properly replace him.

Regardless, we should bring in a center half, similar to big CJ

Ajer just isn’t a natural CH as Julian is, £20m+ snap their hand off

don’t hold your breath, I’m sick of going into CL qualifiers with Bitton at CH

He still has a lot to learn. No doubts about that. But no way are we robbing them blind. Clubs are paying a lot more than 20m these days for 'potential'.

He excels at bringing the ball out of defence. He is a good dribbler. Good strength. Decent in the air.

Sure he is rash in the tackle and can get caught wrong side but like I say he has plenty time to eradicate that from his game.

Personally I'd much rather he stays.

We can't keep going into champions league qualifiers year on year with an apprentice centre half. We would be in a far stronger position on and off the park by selling him and replacing with another Julien type signing.

I get the model of the club is to sign young promising players, develop them and sell them for a high fee and that's great just not with Centre half's.

Add in the fact that he's clearly not going to sign a new contract this is the prime time to sell him with 2 years left on his deal

Every player has their price, and if it means selling Ajer to give Eddie the type of contract he'll sign then I'm all for it. Just hope we have a Jullien level replacement already scouted.

I don't think he can be called an apprentice centre half. He's shown really well in a lot of games for me.

Think we all know though the club will have a valuation of him and if it's met he will in all likelihood be offski.

Not in my book, in fact, would go so far as to say he is hopeless in the air, in both boxes, especially for a guy that is well over 6 foot.

I am pretty sure, if anyone bids 20M for him, Pedro will sell.

Guy used to be good but after he broke a cheekbone or eye socket hes been pish in the air. Obviously still scared of a repeat.

Yeah I don't think anyone could argue that he isn't * useless in the air.

He's barely a threat in the opposition box and I don't feel that confident in ours when defending.

He'll maybe come good, but I just don't ever see him as even a semi-natural cb.

He's not good in the air and his positional sense defensively is pish. Great driving forward but he's never a centre half. I'll repeat myself by saying he's sitting midfielder every day of the week.

I think this is exactly the situation we are in with Ajer. Regardless of abilities if we get a bid in the region of £20-25m he will be sold, particularly if he will not sign a contract extension.

I think the same will go for Ntcham and Eddy, if we cannot get one year extensions at least and receive bids of say £13-15m for Ntcham and £30m+ for Eddy they will be sold. I think Ajer and Ntcham, may both go and hope Eddy stays for one more year, so we need to be ready with replacements lined up to come in quickly, particularly Ajer as we are already short at CB.

Personally if it's possible I'd love to keep him another 3 years atleast. If he is this good at 22/23 imagine what he could be like 26/27. 22 is still very young for a CB.

That being said, 2 years left on the contract, if we are offered £25M we have to take it. Simple as that really

I hate the way he jumps into a tackle. And he has more than on one occasion literally slide tackled a dead ball with no-one near him.

If we get a bid of £20M he will definitely be gone.

Would rather keep him for the 10, as we will need to find 2 x CBs.

Given the quality that Lennon found in Julien for £7m, we'd be mental not to accept £20m for Ajer. He was one of our poorest regular performers last season.
