Haven’t been able to use the forum on my laptop since the ads have been upped. Must be a pain in the * for anyone trying to host comps. Maybe some leeway should be given to the game hosts

 

Best way round the ads - Use firefox and download adblock ultimate as an add-on. When the notice comes up on forum telling you to turn off the adblocker just click on the adblock add-on and press block element then click on the message and the dulled background to stop it coming back. Then you are ad free

 

Yeah. I turned my adblocker off because I want to support the site but it's actually unusable without it. I know the site has upkeep costs, but we must lose so many new members because they can barely navigate past the first page.

Anyway, that should be all the roles out now. Hopefully get started tomorrow afternoon or evening.

 

I barely get ads. I log on with my phone though. Not sure if that makes a big difference or not.

 

When I use my phone it doesn't bother me but on the laptop it's just unusable, I use my phone a fair bit so the forum should still get plenty ad revenue off me.

 

Yeah same. Phone is fine, laptop is a riot. Doesn't help that my laptop is a piece of * to begin with though.

 

Email Celtic Mad asking to be put on a fewer ads package.

 

Just a question I remember being asked before & can’t Remember answer. Do certain skins affect amount of ads you see?
