I think some may buy more or buy directly from the club too and possibly buy more to help the club out (I could be wrong) more so than usual due to current situation although I must say I almost went to JD due to the celtic site getting on my *.

Folk are buying the gear up in their droves, mainly, because it’s * hot and Adidas is a refreshing change.

The other factors will be negligible.

Same, I held back and going to go in the Celtic shop to get one.

Trying to get 2 x 9 in a row special Celtic Views as well and a few newsagents I've tried haven't got them.

In all fairness the new balance training stuff was stunning too, especially the last 2 seasons. Feels high quality too.

Not a patch on the Adidas stuff plus we’d had New Balance for years so they didn’t benefit from the anticipation this new raft of stuff has had.

I'd assumed the partnership with JD would mean it didnt really matter if we bought it from Celtic directly or via JD ?
Sports direct and the others would be different.

I just assumed JD were the only people except Celtic selling it but the profit on a £50 item must be £20 to £30? Which goes to us and not jd

We get 8% of the nett amount on replica strips and 4% of the other merch that’s industry standard

Yes, but if we sell direct, on-line or in store, we also get the retailer cut as well.

8% sounds higher than I expected to be honest. So good cut no matter where a fan goes.

Over the years, I'm 54 now, I bought every strip I could, disasters like the camoflague one with the red and blue Ford /People's logo on it. And I always thought that Adidas would be the best provider as most of the strips and training gear they provided looked decent, the Zombies stuff was hideous though! Something that I thought would have been good was for years they were Boston Celtics provider and thought they missed a trick in not trying to tie up the whole Celtics thing. Pity they are now with Nike!

Go onto the Bear Pit forum and someone on there thinks they get £20 from castor for every strip sold!!!!!!

You 54 mate? Like 54 years old? Like you've been on this planet for 54 years?

You've never mentioned that before, that your 54. That is new information.

What age are you again because we all forgot while you were being negative about Celtic.

    Haven't bought a Celtic top in a long time. We're talking Strachan-era.

I can see myself buying all three this year.
