Steve McManaman is the only player of that vintage I actually like....

Very under-rated and under recognised ...

Had the balls to go to Spain to play at a time when most English players were too frightened, too lazy, or not good enough. A really elegant footballer and First English player to win CL with a foreign club and first to do it twice.

Mr Gerrard never did anything of note outside of Liverpool and of course.. never won the league. While it might show loyalty... for me his one club/one country career doesn’t mark him out as quite the ‘legend’ he gets labelled with.

Think him being their manager now has tinted a lot of people’s views. Gerrard single handedly kept Liverpool relevant for years. A team that has only just won the prem after 30 years of not doing so would be forgotten long ago If it wasn’t for him. He could of moved loads of times.
I personally don’t like him as a person from what I’ve seen and I don’t support Liverpool...but as a player he totally is a Liverpool legend and rightly so.

Why would it make any difference?

Seemingly they would have to play their games at neutral grounds

So in theory a team travel up and down country for remaining games away and teams travel into Leicester to play.

Can't exactly have a city in regional lockdown and then have teams of 100 or so people from 100s of different households mingle all for a poxy game of football

That’s not how it operates though - be literally no difference to what happens currently with every person involved being tested regularly and staying within their tight group in and out of regional areas.

It will be different, the city is in an extended lockdown as it has seen a sharp increase in cases.

People shouldn't be traveling in or out of the city and football should not an exception.

It won’t be any different whatsoever, football started back a fortnight ago and it will continue on as normal.

Cool, I'll just hop in a car from london and test my eye sight and visit my sister in Leicester.

Footballers can travel cross country and through a city in it's own lockdown, don't see why I can't.

Makes a mockery imo of Leicester being in it's lockdown if anyone can jusy travel unimpeded in and out.

Luiz starting for Arsenal again just now if anyone's wanting a laugh. It's against Norwich right enough but Pukki will probably put him on his * a few times.

It's the Norwich keeper providing the laughs. What a stupid thing to do when your team is on the verge of going down.

Leicester 2-0 down already, what a shame.
