Hart really isn't unrealistic, apparently on 45k a week at Burnley. He knows he will have to take a further pay cut (on about 150k at Man City). At this point I wouldn't be surprised if his agent has tried to sell him to us as if he does not get to us I think he is Championship bound.

If anyone can get him back to his best, it’s Steve Woods. That said, I’d still much rather have Forster back.

 

Everyone of us would prefer Forster but I don't think we should just bow down to Southampton. I think Forster has to try and help force through the move and we need to prepare for him not coming back.

Please NAW LAWWELL, I realise he’s cheap for an international player, well ex international player, he’s been going downhill since city replaced him, mans confidence was shaky and then Griffiths scored those GREAT free kicks against hart & engerland and since, hart has failed at Burnley,( which is difficult for a keeper as the Burnley defence is usually solid under Dyche), so no Celtic, take a pass on this bargain, PLEASE PETER

 

He's got a touch of the Boruc's about him, capable of pulling off world class saves and winning matches one minute, then getting beat by the opposition goalie or tripping over the ball and costing the game the next minute.

He's a far far better option at number 1 than Bain though, Bain is a guy that fills in when necessary, nothing more.

 

He conceded nearly half of all the shots aimed to his left this season. That is a * shocking stat for a supposed top tier keeper. His actual save rate is lower than his expected saves as well. He is a terrible keeper who has been found out again and again. If we're going to sign an English GK on a free I'd honestly rather sign Foderingham than Hart

 

He was definetely over hyped from early doors and even was picked ahead of given when he shouldn't have been purely based on the fact he was seen as the next England goalie. That said he could put a very capable season or two together if he was coached well and he got the backing required which would be easy for us to provide

If we cant get Forster in on a permal, then think this could be a good move for us, think our backroom team could work wonders with him, hes also played at the highest level and would be a good experienced keeper to have behind the sticks for our 10 in a row season. Hes coming to the end of his career as a footballer(being a keeper maybe 5 seasons left) and will be willing to impress and win trophys before its all over.

 

Last thing you want is a keeper behind the sticks!!!!!!!!

He’s gonna be one a they arrogant EPL players who comes up here thinking he will stroll it in the pub league. Only to leave after embarrassing himself surely can’t be taking risks like this when going for 10 ffs, the guy is pants

 

Id be happy with him to be honest, yes he has had a poor couple of years and was overrated by English media when he was at city, but he's still a very good keeper when on song and if we can get him back to how he was or near that level then he would be an excellent signing. Think he just needs some love like big FF needed when coming back to us. Would only get him if we have no chance on Fraser F mind.
