Can we just close this thread please?

We don't want giraffe neck, and there's no chance he'd come here anyway.

Celtic will start signing talks with former England keeper Joe Hart this week after Craig Gordon confirmed he’s played his last game for the club.

Record Sport revealed on Saturday that Hart will rocket to the top of Neil Lennons shopping list if a deal to get Fraser Forster back out of Southampton cannot be thrashed out this summer. Initial discussions between the Nine in a Row champions and the 33-year-old’s advisers have taken place with a second round
of negotiations due to take place within the next few days.

Celtic are also waiting for clarity on Forster’s future as Lennon weighs up his goalkeeping options for next season.

A senior Parkhead source confirmed: “There were talks last week with Hart’s people and there are further discussions planned to take place before the weekend. It has all been very positive so far but obviously a lot is going to depend on what Fraser’s situation is at Southampton.”

    He's not a bad keeper.

I'd rather tie up Forster, but I wouldn't be against this move.

Honestly will miss FF. Never have I experienced a keeper that saves more penalties than scored against him. We really need that this year because guaranteed going for the 10 we will have the highest penalties against rate in the league.

Joe heart would actually be good imo but he could do with growing a bit taller and renaming himself Forrester the great wall.

    Agreed.

Can't see this happening, but he was quite realistically one of the best keepers in Europe for a time.

If Stevie Woods can turn a third string NUFC keeper into England's number 1, if he can take that Uber * from nowhere and make Chelsea stump up millions... Then I've no fear about Joe Hart.

I honestly would prefer to go with Bain though. Guy deserves a chance imo

Bains had a chance. A good backup but not out standing. Put him in goals and we wouldnt have qualified past the groups in europe. Wouldnt be on for a 4th treble in a row. I do like bain, but Forrester is tremendous.
