Watched a 15 minute recap of seasons 1 and 2 yesterday, and I'm still baffled.:giggle1:

Going to start season 3 tonight. The reviews have been amazing.

Prepare to be completely bamboozled by S3 then. :giggle1: Its very satisfying though.

I'm going to give my brain time to cool down then go back and try and make sense of some of it.

Far as I can tell without giving too much away, somebody slept with both their great great grandkid and great great great grandkid, somebody is their own great uncle, fathers killing kids, mother's killing daughters, mum and daughter stealing the same daughter as a baby and all sorts of other weird and wonderful stuff.

    Just amazing television.

Finally finished this last night. Been watching videos and reading reviews of it to really process everything.

It's genius and absolutely mental. Not quite sure how to put my thoughts into words really. With so much complexity, it's incredible that they managed to end the series in a satisfying way.

And with the reveals coming all the way from season 1 to 3, I reckon it'll be one of those shows that'll be even more rewarding the second time through, being able to piece everything together.

    The best Netflix original series.

Speaking from experience, the second run through is much more satisfying.

There is also a website. Darknetflix i think its called. Gives you a run down on the family trees.

Chàrlotte kidnapping herself with her Mother, who is also her daughter was one of the most mindbending revelations.

Who would have thought Noah had the purest intentions as well.

Just an amazing piece of television.

Also. Check Hannah's timeline. She was helbent on destroying everything in every era she was in, and was the only one to get deja vu in the correct timeline.

    She was poison.

Aye Hannah was always the most unlikeable character in the show.

I can’t stop thinking about it today.:giggle1: I’m glad it’s finished because it was the right time to end it, but it’s gutting when you finish something so good.

I honestly thought for a second that Jonas and Martha appearing on the road was going to cause the crash that killed Tannhaus' son, daughter in law and grandchild. Thus completing the circle.

Ironically that would have been a Dark ending.

I watched the first series when it first started and then some of the second a while after it came out. Really enjoyed it but shoulda probably recapped season 1. Will go back in but * if i'm going in bare back where i left off. Gonna start from scratch. It's really unusual and clever stuff though.

To really grasp it you need to commit to about 2/3 episodes a night until completion. That's your undivided attention.

    Its worth it though.

I was lucky in that I found Dark later on, ploughed through the first two seasons then only had 4 months until S3. Watched most of s2 again, then watched S3.

Waited a month and watched it right through again. Its flawless. Can't think of one loose end, and there was a lot of loose ends to tie up.

3 seasons, 33 year cycles, reveals on dates that matter in the show past and present. The date of the S3 premiere.

    They thought of everything.

Finished this a couple of weeks ago. The latest season is a mind * but stick with it & it will all come together. Totally agree that you need to concentrate or it might not all make sense at some point. Think i will give it a watch from the start again at some point when i have time.

Think it's my top foreign series

    1 Dark
    2 Gomorra
    3 Money Heist
    4 Romanzo Criminale
    5 Deutschland 83
