What about Ronny? Not the best manager, but brought through Tierney and McGregor, and is supposed to have been the one who scouted Dembele.

No.1 is Neil Francis Lennon (Not just the most important figure in 9 in a row but easily one of the most important figures in the entire history of Celtic Football Club). A Legend amongst Legends.

Other 5 would be Scott Brown, James Forrest, Callum McGregor, Rodgers the Rat and Peter Lawell.

    1. Brown - a born leader and ultimate professional / role model. Maintained the highest standard for a decade.

    2. Lennon - started it all and will finish it all, he set the standard after a disastrous team under Mowbray. One of us :notworthy

    3. Snake / PL / DD - for Desmond to get a manager of that calibre when it looked like the Huns were gonna cause us problems was a huge statement of intent. The Dembele, Sinclair & Edouard signings took us up another level again. All three contributed on that front.

    4. Ronny Deila - found it difficult in Europe but brought out the best in a few of our players who then went on to excel in BRs invincible side.

    5. Kennedy - a constant throughout and highly thought of by all the managers he's worked for. Maybe the unsung hero of 9IAR.

    6. McGregor - could argue Forrest deserves a mention over Callum but for me his attitude, application and love for the club has been infectious across the squad since he broke through under Ronny. Has gotten better every season. Pler.

(I know I bodged it a bit @packybhoy but there's too many names to mention) :67:

That’s what it’s for. I picked Griff and thought that may be scoffed at but a few have already chosen him as well.

If French Eddie has a great season next year, does anyone think he’d be deserving of a place in the 6. IMO the best player since Larsson. Puts bums on seats and gets them up during games several times. Also sticking around instead of having his head turned. Or maybe someone like Lustig or Forster have given more?

its all about the fans for me,players managers come and go.

For us the fans we are always here and 9/10 in a row means more to us than any player/manager.

Not ignoring the efforts and believe showing by the players or managers but i really think the hope for 9/10 is something that is kept alive by the fans,we want 10 more than anything and if we dont get it we will have to live with the regret while i feel the majority of our players could move on to other clubs and it would be just another forgotten chapter in their careers.

Like i said im not ignoring the efforts of players /managers and im sure they want to be part of history but for example if a bid came in for eddie id be surprised (delighted)if he turned down a move just to stay for ten.

Sorry but Ronny Delia deserves to be there for his 2 titles. That fact that he also got the likes of Ajer, Christie to the club and blooded McGregor , 3 massive players over the last 3 years or so should never be forgotten

Well Scott you have the ability to make a list and put him in it and I can’t disagree with it. My 6 is who I thought was worthy. :50:

    Lennon
    Broony
    Tierney
    Lustig
    Griffith's

I know I might get a bit of debate over Tierney but the reasons I picked him was through sheer passion, energy and effort. I was gutted when he left but he left but he symbolises everything our 9 in row for me

    1.Broony - Captain, Leader, Legend.

    2. Lenny - Started our run off and has "Lenny'd it" to 5 out of our 9 League wins

    3. McGregor - An ever present for us over the last 4/5 seasons, never injured, rarely below exceptional

    4. Forrest - A livewire who first broke into the team under Lennon and gave defences a torrid time, lost his way a little through injury and a sticky patch for the team, then rejuvenated to be one of our most important attacking players. The numbers he puts up every season are incredible.

    5. Mulgrew - Scored 2 and set up 2 at Rugby Park as we won our first as he won Players, Writers and Celtic POTY in 11/12. A leader on the park for us beyond then for the first 5

    6. Stokes - Mid October 2011, 3-0 down to Kilmarnock and staring at the possibility of going 13 points behind the huns and Lennon losing his job...he pulls 2 long-range cracks from nowhere to haul us back in the game before the man above Mulgrew scores the equaliser. Those goals saved Lennon's job and the fight back breathed new life into a title challenge that was floundering. By the turn of the year we had turned the points deficit around and then went on to storm the League.

Who knows how history would have shaped without those goals?

No mate your right it's all about choice but the 3 managers that have been involved in the 9 championships should be in the top 5 imo along with.Scott Brown and, this may be controversial Peter Lawell.
