Just wondering how powerful everbodys PCs are, so if you have a gaming PC, post your specs here.
With these Specs I can play everything at Ultra settings at 2k resolution. To get 4k gaming a would need to upgrade the CPU and GPU.

    RAM - 16gig ddr4 3200mhz

The PC is about 3K Plus, the V3 Motion was 3K alone.

Kinda my main hobby is building PC's /Cinema rooms/Arcade machines etc etc

    Ryzen 1800x
    Gtx 1050ti
    16Gb ram

As an FYI, ram on Amazon for another 16gb (2x8) is as little as £60 just now. Some of the tgb hyperx fury stuff I think is around £80, cracking price if anyone is thinking to upgrade.
Tempted to double up in prep for flight simulator.

GPU I'm eying up the 2070 super and the 5700xt but holding out as long as possible for the next generation of amd cards.
Pretty sure their next batch is going to have ray tracing as well, and let's all be honest AMD are getting stronger and stronger these days in the GPU market and have already kicked the * out of intel in the CPU side.

    Very nice.

With me starting to get into sim racing adding the VR and the V3 Motion platform,my next upgrade will be for a professional set of pedals and wheels like you have, nearly a grand though and ive already spent my budget this year on a Home Cinema setup due to lockdown,so will have to be nearer Xmas.

16gb rgb hyperx ram went down to £75 on Amazon.
Technically out of stock, but purchased anyway and await them returning to stock.
    At that price, can't argue.

Technically they are faster than I have currently, but the system should default it to the lower speed and still utilise 32Gb of RAM.
Good prep for flight sim coming later.
GPU upgrade by October time and I'll be a happy lad.

Rocking the alloy elite let card and the pulse mouse. Duel monitor - neither is 4k but I do have my eye on a "matching" Asus one for one of my current monitors which will fit nicely I reckon.

Aye lockdown has been dangerous.. it was at the start of isolation I got the pedals, without a doubt best sim racing purchase I’ve made, it’s made me much faster with the loadcell brake pedal due to consistency. I never lock up brakes anymore so consistency round corners is much better.

I really want to get a motion rig and like you it’ll probably be the v3, however, that’s a long way away yet.

Simracing in VR is the best experience ever! I could never go back to monitor(s) Can only imagine how good it is in a motion rig setup.

Yeah its fantastic in the Index with high htz rate.

I honestly cannot race without VR or the motion sim ever gain. The race sims just scares you in VR, so real, the movement and geforce are fantastic.
Best purchase i made in years

The typos in this are horrendous ha!

Turned out the 16Gb I ordered did not match up at all, so my hope to get to 32Gb was a fail. Obv kept the faster sticks in the machine and the older/slower ones are saved for a second machine if ever needed - getting close to having enough parts to build a second machine and may sell/donate it off to someone in need.

GPU took a bit longer than expected as well, initially I was waiting to see what AMD brought out and been wanting the 6800xt since release, but as we all know just now, hardware is a * to get a hold of. So got the chance of the FE last night and took it, MSRP and at least 200 less than respected 3rd party cards on sites not ripping the utter * out of the price.
Also settled for a 1440p/2k monitor. The 3070 can do 4k with relative ease, but it's at it's limit and sometimes would not be best at ULTRA, so settled for the 2k and the knowledge I will be playing everything at ULTRA (minus Flight Sim ha)

Also, got a HOTAS and thruster on order as well, so I am going to be geeked out my nut this year.
VR the only other thing I need to contemplate.

Not a bad setup, planning on upgrading the cpu? My only regret with my build was getting the 3700x over the 5600x, albeit I don't think the cpu matters much at 1440p.

It's likely the next upgrade, though not one I am desperate for.
I purposefully got the 1800x at the time to see me through many years.
My only issue is I think they changed the socket type, or are going to with Zen3? so will need to keep in mind a MoBo change as well.
Once all the demand dies down, I'll suss the lay of the land.
Not dropping £400+ on a CPU at this time.

Went from a 1050ti to the 3070 - the 1800x probably hasn't gotten out of second gear before now ha

Zen 3 is the last gen on the am4 socket, after this its changing, main reason I'm regretting the 3700x as I wont be able to upgrade it without a new motherboard :90:

Yeah thought we was around the time of a change.

I may then look at the newest one currently, AFTER the next gen comes out for price beenfits and run that for a few years.

Otherwise, it will be a MoBo upgrade as well then.
