a few people use Larsson as a yardstick & I get that. However his wages were equal too if not better than anything he could have earned in nearly every other European league.
can you imagine quadrupling to £160000 ( which KT has) a week, he might have had his head turned.

My Dad said the exact same things about 18 months ago. He trains the way he plays and to be 100 % commited all the time he will pick up a lot of injuries, something his last 18 months have proved

Larsson already said in the press he could have moved a few times but chose not to. That's end of story there and then. Happy with what he had and seen no need to move. Something I will always admire him for, the same as Paul Mcstay, loyalty

Good interview here. Quality about his dentist being at Hampden and taking him to get a a quick operation :56: always just assumed it would be a club dentist/doctor that sorted him out that day.

I wouldn't have gave him a second thought had we replaced him with someone capable. It's been a sore one to take though because we haven't. Having said that, had he had the same luck with injuries if he stayed with us, he would have hardly kicked a ball anyway and his value would be nowhere near the £25m we got.

KT was and is a special talent... believing we could get a replacement that was anywhere near that level was like a 5% chance. We got £25 mil for him...there’s a reason that’s our record fee. Taylor isn’t that bad a player, was great for killie and will end up great for us when given a chance like he was towards the end of the season. Some fans are just pining for KT’s quality back like an ex girlfriend who’s moved on haha!

FORMER Celtic star Kieran Tierney could be set for a reunion with Brendan Rodgers after just one season at Arsenal.

The defender has been limited to just five Premier League appearances since his arrival from Parkhead due to injuries.

According to The Transfer Window Podcast, Leicester City have set their sights on signing the 22-year-old.

Former Hoops manager Rodgers is a huge fan of Tierney following their time together at Parkhead.

The Northern Irishman is determined to sign a new left-back as Ben Chilwell looks set to join Chelsea during the summer.

Chilwell has allegedly told his club that he wants to make the move - which is expected to cost the Blues £85million.

Tierney would fit the bill for Leicester despite struggling to reach his full potential in North London this term.

He made a slow start to life with the Gunners as he recovered from a hernia operation following his Scottish record £25million move.

He made eight appearances including four starts under former Arsenal boss Unai Emery.

The 22-year-old then dislocated his shoulder and has not yet played under Mikel Arteta.

But the Spaniard has insisted Tierney will bring "something special" to the team when he's fit to play.

Arteta told Ian Wright: "I am really looking forward to working with him and giving him the opportunity to play.

His attitude, his commitment, his willingness, it's incredible.

"I think he's going to bring something special to us."

No chance, but if there is even the most remote chance of this happening...

Surely Tierney being a fan like me and you, would tell Rodgers where to go?

Even still, Leicester is a backwards step.
With arteta talking him up and wanting to play him, why would you move?

The fact Rodgers is only linked with celtic and ex Celtic players shows how incompetent he is at recruiting
