Thanks Sioux, i'm still trying for that sharp pic of a Swallow in flight, the wee bassas are like lightning.

 

Great pictures there Red, I'm convinced there's Holy Water in that bath and you're attracting all the wee Doire * birds.

 

Looks like Mrs Blackbird Og has no tail feathers but she still manages to get around well..

 

Spot on Johnie. Mrs AMR has shoulder mounted anti-tank missile for any Tyrone bird that dares enter the garden.

 

Lovely pics Red, there must be a Cat around with a mouth full of feathers.

That is a Whitethroat Johnie

 

When for a lovely ultra Dusk Walk with Ruby Roo tonight,saw my first Noctule Bats of the year,our biggest Bat of course.
Also cracking views of a perched Tawny Owl as darkness fell. Saw it pounce on something on the ground and go back on the perch. Far too dark for my basic
Camera though.
Also heard only a foraging Badger in the woodland undergrowth a long the edge of the sloped country lane.

 

Early bird catches the worm...took him about 10 minutes though

 

Absolutley STUNNING shot of the swooping Swallow Johnie. I've been there when my daughter Caroline had tried to get a shots of Swallows and Housemartins. I've also seen her get so angry trying to those shots.

Thanks john, the swallow picture is a bit blurry, i'd like to get one a bit more in focus, I gave up trying to focus on a single bird, I watched a few flying around a wee swarm of midges and just kept firing away, that's the best to come out of around 50 pictures.
