Thing is you don't notice them until you start looking then you wonder why you've never seen them before :56:

Beautiful sunsets tonight. You know an amazing thing is that I didn't filter or doctor any of these photos. That was actual colours on the water from the setting sun.

Think mama duck has lost a lot of her brood. Hate those gulls. The beach is like a snack bar to them.

I live in a tenement Jeannie so we share the back space and it's quite nice, but unfortunately I had to take my bird feeders down as they were attracting rats by order of the council, so sad not seeing the wee bird's from my kitchen window and not being able to feed them this winter, thank * I've got the camera to get out and about to see things :)

We know a couple in a tenement and they look after the whole back yard. The neighbours aren't gardeners so they keep the lawn nice and grew nice shrubs against the walls (which attracts the birds) and made nice dry gravel areas with pots and seats and things. They turned it into a lovely place for everyone in the building to enjoy and folks were just as happy to let them get on with it. I couldn't imagine not having that wee bit of escape.

I love hearing when younger people have a love of nature. It's something we need more of in this world AMR
