Is it likely to be the same idea that 15mins later we will see it in the UK?

Nah mate, it will be later, around 22:15 :50:

Scotland is probably too far north this time to see it unfortunately, as it will be really low in the south west sky. @Idioteque should have a chance though

Quarter past 10 after a 22 minutes past 8 launch, is it a 1 litre Vauxhall Corsa Engine in the rocket?

Sky will be too light for the first pass, so they reckon it will be the next pass we will see it.

Apparently Glasgow has a chance of spotting it if you can see close to the horizon

I was camping in Galway around 2007/08 possibly with the wife, kids and her extended family. NASA sent a Space launch from Cape Canaveral and we listened live on Irish radio, it was a big thing. The sky was perfect and about 7 minutes after launch in Florida it was visible as clear above West Coast of Ireland. My kids still talk about it. Some sight to see.

Not the first time either. They've been catching them for months now.

SpaceX actually want to land it on land but NASA said no way.
