Mo Johnston was declared null and void. Never played for Celtic.

I'd say it was more of 4-4-2/4-3-3 fluid..

Although sometimes both Whyte and McGrain would play LB and Grant played RB too.

    Bonner
    McGrain Aitken Whyte Rogan/Burns
    Grant
    McLeod McStay McInally
    McClair Judas

Danny McGrain was primarily a right-back, did he play enough how left-back to consider him his secondary position?

In the case of Tommy Burns, it was mainly a left midfielder, it could be his secondary position a left-back ? or maybe more left-winger?

Peter Grant, was primarily a defensive midfielder, can he also be considered a right back?

Paul McStay was a playmaker central midfielder, was he able to play as a right midfielder?

Murdo McLeod, could be more, a playmaker or a ball-winner ?? and could play as wide-midfielder ?, more left or right ??
