I like Taylor, but he if Boli is being pushed out at leat 1 more on that side is needed but Connell may be the back up left wing back now but we need more than just Johnston on that left wing. I also want our transfer spending to concentrate on players we need such as keeper and replacing whoever leaves.

I would've gave Hayes another year but at his age he's maybe looking for another contract or more game-time which is fair enough.

Wee man gave 100% at all times. I'm sure we'll see him back at Parkhead as a supporter in the not too distant future.

Probably a chance of a 3 year with another team vs our 1 year aswel.

Just saw the news this morning. A tough decision, but it's definitely the right time for all parties that he moved on.

I can't really say anything about Jonny Hayes that hasn't already been said. He was never spectacular in a Celtic shirt but I never really felt he let us down, either. Gave the impression of someone who never complained, trained hard, looked after himself and was always ready to play when called upon. It doesn't sound like much buy guys like him tend to be remembered quite fondly.

Anyway, will never forget his clincher at Ibrox, and I quite enjoyed the time he smashed that Rennes player in the Europa League and rattled their entire team.

It's a pity to see him go, as has already been said he gave 100% 100% of the time so it was great to have someone so reliable willing to be a backup player. I think we should be ok on that wing, can't think of much to worry about.

Hail Hail Jonny! Thanks for giving us everything :ynwacelti

I'm sorry to see him go, he has been a good player to have and fits in anywhere on the left. He looks completely committed any time I've watched him.
Good luck to him with the next phase of his career.

This will be a big thing and I can't blame him. At 32 he still looks fit and now just wants game time. He has won 6 trophies here, 7 trophies in his whole career so doesn't have to prove himself any longer.

Things could have been different if it wasn't for that injury at Dundee, was really starting to grow into his role.

Gave 100% and would have been OK with another year, but respect his decision..

A likeable professional but ultimately not quite at the level required for us..

    Good luck tho. :50:

Lived the dream, there’s been players passing through here with twice the talent that didn’t even make any impact at all never mind score the winner at the shitpit.

Infectious enthusiasm, it will probably need to be replaced - definitely from a squad perspective anyway.

I’d have gave him another year. Decent squad player who always put in a shift. Good luck to Johnny Hayes wherever he ends up.

Good luck Johnny Hayes. Never a grumble from the lad and played for a cause. Understood totally what it meant to wear the hoops. Hail, hail. YNWA.

A poor footballer who could come in and do a job, with a bucket load of determination. Don’t think he’ll be difficult to replace.

I'm surprised he wasn't given an extension to remain a back up player.

All the best to him. Hope he gets a good move.

Not a flashy player that grabs headlines, just a hard working squad player that gave his all every time he was called upon. Would have liked to see him stay but wish him well for the future.
