Great pics , I need a good camera , mainly for holidays and hillwalking , phones just don't cut the mustard when you see the quality of these.

Anyone have any ideas? Our youngest saw this wee fella on her early morning walk in the park. Says it's the cutest bird she's ever seen. Not great picture, taken with her phone.

I have a friend who uses a samsung phone and her photos are spectacular. I think it just depends on the phone :50:

not wildlife wee buggers to fast still , some of you know Im a keen gardener , last week on Gardeners World a woman told how she grew her tomato plants from the seeds of a tomato out the fridge , now I knew thats where the seeds originally came from but I thought there was a process done on them before selling in packets , thought im going to try that so I planted 10 days ago ( I know its to late to produce fruit )

dont really grow fruit or veg but I will plant them on , see how they go .

That's exactly how to do it. A round slice of tomato and cover it with soil so well done you :50: I've got cherry toms, round lettuce, parsley, beets, brocolli and radishes on the go in my wee polycarbonate greenhouse :84:. Lots of flower seeds too. Trying to replicate my former garden in a smaller scale and will be getting a raised bed built. I love the garden and there's nothing better than going out and getting a few of your own lettuce leaves. It tastes totally different. I love going down to the greenhouse and pottering around early in the morning before the world wakes up.

When I did at one time try tomatoes I just got them at a garden centre , the raised borders has crossed my mind, ive got the room for a couple .

Nope I'm the queen of nutters :56:I love the quiet at that time of day. On a nice morning I will sit with my cup of tea and let my eyes roam around the garden. Hubby says every time I get a new idea his back starts to ache :56:Yes I need a raised border and they are brilliant. I like mine to be a few feet off the ground and rectangular in shape. I don't have a lot of room as this garden is like a postage stamp compared to my last. You can grow a lot in big pots and you can stick things like radishes among you flowers but bigger things need space. I was going to plant carrot seeds but need some farm manure mix to get it right. I'm a big fan of Dahlias so I'm trying to get some of them on the go. Also I love strawberries so when I get sorted I'm going to harvest some of them from a punnet and plant them.
